Facebook was complete garbage for me. I spent over a year trying to use it for advertising and all I got were cheap tire kickers. I didnt win one job from Facebook. It was a huge waste of time for me. I win plenty of jobs without it.

We insist on DD. I've been ripped off plenty over the years, it really is the way to go. Your pricing seems cheap, we have a minimum of £12. I used to charge £1 per window 20 years ago, now its more like £2 per window. It is what it is, if your not making money there is no point. I couldn't care less what others charge, for me it comes down to my costs.

I'm seeing another window cleaner that has 700 but not getting around them and all and probably gets the cycle done every 3 months. There for his not got 700 customers a month

In my experience, it’s better to just do everything yourself in the beginning. When the canvaser is the cleaner you build a rapport right from the start. Plus, you can start to get a feel for those who’ll mess you around without paying. Now that you’ve already got 500 customers, why not just clean them all yourself? Bin the other cleaner and stop the canvaser? You’ll maximise your profit and the business will still grow by referrals/recommendations and people seeing you out working. It’ll take time to see which customers are worth keeping on, by the sounds of it you might have a fair chunk to cut loose. But, once that is done you’ll have a valuable customer base. Which is the lifeblood of your business.
