The bootup on my scope pauses at that splash screen for a good 20 seconds. I see you hitting the run/stop button in the NE corner of the unit which appears to end that pause. Is there anything else you are doing beforehand to get that pause terminated? Simply pressing the run/stop on my scope doesn't end the timeout.
