Asha Wu Kimathi: Digital Art Speed Painting

Here is another speed painting. The challenge was to mix ancient chinese armor and 90s overalls fashion. What possible background or story would a character like this have? Instagram: instajohnagram Music: "Throwback" by Frenic
Surf Guard 2070: Digital Art Speed Painting
มุมมอง 183 ปีที่แล้ว
So, this kind of a speed painting process video. The character is a based on a science fiction concept I have of futuristic life guards. I hope you enjoy the video. I plan on putting out more regularly, Instagram: instajohnagram Music is "Grainy Daze" by Frenic: frenic.bandcamp.com/track/grainy-daze

how can I Animate like you 😅
I'm still learning. But, something that really helped me was @AlanBeckerTutorials 's 12 Principles of Animation video/series. It's based on a disney animation book of the same name. Especially the part about timing.
Cool!
the
It’s amazing dude
Amazing! It's like a short trailer for an upcoming Sci-fi movie
nice style!
Thanks :)
Could have sworn this was ASMR
I guess it is kinda relaxing isn't it
Wish some ghost would come and scare me into doing my assignments more xd (And how does this not have more likes??)
lol yes. Ghost is scary, but useful. - I'm so inconsistent with my posting. (apparently that's the key) I'll get there one day *shrugs*
This is one of my favorites of yours actually 😄
Thanks Ravyn ^-^
This series is really cool! Is it your own story?
It is. Thank you. I'm really interested in stories and experiences. I'm working on a new story right now actually. Hoping I can bring it to life in an even more animated way.
@@johnmurray2440 Awesome, I'd love to see it
Haha 😂
Best drawing I have seen for the fans of marvel and specifically captain america you should honestly consider selling your artwork on Etsy or something. I can think of a few people who would buy it.
Thank you for the kind words!
cool

Ayoo its been a minute. Glad to see you still upload
Trying to get back into it. Thanks for watching
Pretty cool stuff, John!
Thanks, Kenny
Great video!! Ejoying your videos. Keep posting when you can.
Great video! This was very helpful and I'll try to use these tips when coloring.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Also thanks for sharing my vids, I appreciate it.
Cool! Are you using Photoshop?
Thanks! Yup!
Love, absolutely amazing on the professionalism of how this video is put together. Your Raven is also impressive because of all the art studies you did beforehand, you truly captured Raven.
lol, I replied with the wrong account at first. But yeah - Thanks so much! I really tried to structure the video to be both fun and educational.
Hands down, this is something else. It's not just a traditional speedpaint, but an actual educational tutorial. Can't say I've ever seen something like this on YT, tho I might just be ignorant. Still, this was amazing, appreciated and very informational. Thank you! :)
Thank you very much! I was trying to do something different. Sometimes it feels like I make stuff for no one. So I really appreciate the comment.
Very cool video and great artwork, although I would recommend going shorter with the videos in the beginning. People are less inclined to go all the way through longer videos on a new channel. At least, that's been my experience.
Yeah, I had to make a "note to self" after I made this one. I'll be making 3 to 4 min videos similar to this soon. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
I love that you're making these videos John, very inspirational :)
Thanks, I'm tryn :P
Whoa!! You animate now?! That was awesome!
haha, Thanks! it was my first love and then I realized how much work it actually takes. I'm pretty sure I showed you some old stuff I did with james, but that was a while ago.
John Murray I relate lol. When I was in high school it was my dream to study animation
Really cool video John :D Awesome editing too. I love your logo thing at the end lol
:P Thanks Britt. Yeah, I'm trying some new stuff. Some tutorials, and even some animations. Like, I have these audio clips of Tea pretending to be a talk show host and interviewing me and James. lol I want to make a cute little animation to them.
Dude, can you please make me a banner! All i have is a boring J.
haha, I'll make something slightly better than that.
Thanks man! It really looks awesome.
