In this video, we take you through Dutch’s journey from a hyper, distracted pup to a focused and confident companion. Dutch, a 6-month-old Pitbull mix, came to us with plenty of energy but little understanding of basic commands. He struggled with jumping on people, pulling on the leash, and getting overly excited around other dogs. Plus, he had some deep-rooted fears of leashes and collars due to a tough start in life - being born in a dog pound and separated from his mom too early.
Through patience, love, and lots of play, Dutch began to thrive in our board and train program. We focused on building his confidence, teaching him leash manners, recall, and essential commands like sit, down, and heel. Dutch even began working on his off-leash skills, something we never imagined when he first arrived!
