Help me bro ❤
Second comment man 😊
In the end, blame HR.
Certs or no certs it all comes down to passion. Previous certs can be downloaded and loaded into Anki flashcards for free. Doesn't mean they can do anything other than the cash to take the exam untill a paasing grade.
First comment man ❤
And the only. 💀😂
As a person living in South Africa I cannot afford these certs especially with the Rand being a lot weaker than the $..Took my bonus and bought the PJPT and must say the hands on hacking was awesome, those are the certs that should really mean something
I am surprised you didn't mentioned GIAC course price of 8000 dollars.
no way in hell would I pay that
But is it even possible to get a job without certifications at all? What about university degrees? Should we just get a degree rather than certification?
I mean it really depends, technically no, you don't need a cert nor degree to get the job you want to get started in. Your projects and profile and connections are really the thing that they most look for anyway. But if you have a cert, it'll bypass a lot of jobs to get to the interview, which ultimately depends on your income source, whether it coming from your pocket or someone else or some company that is willing to invest in you.
Someone going to the dark web and buying a cheat sheet for their Certification , gives them more experience than actually taking said Certification's exam.
Certs are indeed BS. I’ve got a few and nobody has ever hired me because of my certifications. They say things like “your certifications show that you have a willingness to learn.” And that’s it.
Try government contracts only because how can a degree get you a hire paying job with no experience whatsoever, you can also do projects too to gain experience for those certifications you got
I've been railing against CompTIA for over a decade. I'm a hiring manager and only look at certs as a supposed knowledge baseline, and when I interview these candidates, I drill into their actual technical knowledge and experience. There are too many exam dumper are out there, and HR is too lazy to understand the needs beyond these cert letters.
What would you recommend we do to gain experience without prior education nor experience in order to land an entry level position as a pentester? Please and thank you!:)
Practical Exams like the eJPT, OSCP, etc. that focus on initiative for problem solving by implementing the skills learned from their courses through problem scenario questions are much better than knowledge dumpable exams like CompTIA and even CEH. Even the CCNA exam, though majority of the exam content at about 85-90% is still pretty much a knowledge dump, at least have some questions where you must learn to implement the correct configuration of given devices which give some form of technical knowledge assessment. It’s better to have exams that answer the question “Do you know how to do this? Prove it” rather than “Do you remember what this is?” and this is the reason why I’m very interested in the eJPT and OSCP.
dont forget about PJPT and PNPT as well
Lewis Ruth Young Jessica Martinez Linda
Correct! The only issue now is to convince HR and Hiring Managers. We are already convinced, they should be the target.
Finally someone spoke about this.
Incredible stuff here
Hall Laura Martinez Karen Lewis Kenneth
Can't seem to find it, Thanks!
Hi man! How do i reach out asap.
Hi there! We can be contacted via our business email on our channel page!
Wonder if AI would ever steal from the cartel😂
impressive channel, i hope your channel grows
Great summary. I hope that in the future you can also cover besides Las Vegas as well as hackers on planet Earth who had very interesting and unique stuff of their own separate from these two conferences around the same time.
We will look into that for sure! Do help to share this video so that others can also benefit from the content!
daaaaaaaaaanm thiis is burn
Great videos! Keep up the good work!
What is the cert password?? it says there is no password on the website but it askes for password in scarlet
still works wont they fix it ?
Have you updated the app?
@@HackerManOfficial can't find an update for it
Hey, do yall think quantum computers will make crypto exchanges more vulnerable? I use Stonfi for quick trades cause it integrates directly with my TON wallet, super easy and fast
It definitely will in time to come, it's just not YET, not NEVER.
What worries me the most, is that when I warn people about these things, most of the time I get dismissed as being paranoid.
CLOUD was the 3d FRAUD of pc using !!! NEVER DEPEND ON CLOUD CR@P !
credit the researcher who figured it out.
when i use self signed cert it dont allow secure https it sais its not trusted! i dont want to pay for a domain name but still want secure https what can i do? its for local not remote i even tried to have a ca sign it and still it fails!!!
Inorder to get a valid cert you need some sort of domain to sign it to
bro wtf is the grammar on this, i just had a stroke trying to read whatever it is you were trying to say
Add the cert to your trusted certs store, for the cert CN use an IP
WAIT SO WHATSAPP ACTUALLY RUNS THE FILE THE USER CLICKED "OPEN" ON???
That's right. With the right conditions and payloads in place, it can fully take over your host with just one click.
@@HackerManOfficial I think bro is messing with you. Whatsapp "Open" button doesn't always work basically broken
@@HackerManOfficiallmao okay?? That’s barely an exploit, it’s like double clicking Virus.exe minus one warning. Nothing too scary…
@@hunter_killer0244 It's funny because if there was no block list at all nobody would bat an eye, it's common sense that when you click open on a file.. it will open. but they had to make it complicated and add a useless layer of protection and now people complain that it's not inclusive of all file types.
@@hunter_killer0244 Not true
same thing find in Telegram
It is dangerous but make no mistake, those on platforms like this pushing ai tools is a big part of the problem, arXiv:2406.13843v2 is a good resource since it proves at least 200 cases. Sorry if I don't expand much man but heck posting comments is a gamble, yt removes them, those exploiting ai as mentioned removes comments or deletes them, so if you see this you will need to search out the information I gave because links, they comments with links are removed... they do allow harassment, in fact, I can pretty much say that they support it.
video is too slow and long repeating same things..
This is why you should update your browser when an update is available. CVS 2023-3079 has been patched since Chrome Version 114.0.5735.110 released on 5th of June 2023.
That is a best practice that many cyber professionals should do but unfortunately not. Besides, CVE-2023-3079 was used in this demonstration but the concept is there. There are many new exploits that could replace that such as CVE-2024-4947 for instance since new vulnerabilities are constantly being discovered by Vulnerability Researchers. Cheers!
Can't believe this channel has such a low subscriber count. Great Work dude. Keep posting. You just earned another Subscriber..
Thanks for the sub!
Do keep in mind that this process explained in minutes the process takes milliseconds to multi seconds and you’re screwed
The whole process takes a few seconds right after you click on a malicious link that hosts this exploit. In the video, it showed how a shell on the host system was generated as a proof of concept but it can be easily modified into a backdoor, ransomware or traverse into other hosts in your network :) It doesn't matter if you use a VM or not, and it can bypass various EDR or antivirus detections as well!
@@HackerManOfficial yup that’s what I was saying
@@HackerManOfficial right now I’d classify it as a medium to high level threat but if a hacker finds a way to make it into a zero interaction exploit then it’ll go to extremely high level threat those zero interaction exploits mean a user dose need to do anything at all to get infected like a malicious “ad” pop up you’re really s.o.l
That is possible still but it would require another approach. The ways that we can find our foothold will only increase with time in today's world after all :)
ayy great video dude, keep up the awesome work
It's not pronounced "pawn to awn." It's "pown to own." Not knowing this really undermines your credibility... Literally every cyber professional knows this.
I am aware of that, just because our pronunciation is not on point does not undermine a professional's credibility. Nevertheless, we still hope that you have gained great insights through this video :)
@@HackerManOfficial no no hes right, it really does. your details in the video are vague and lacking technical detail.
@@fried_pi Agreed, didn't even bother to mention the host OS of the VM that the exploit works on
My apologies, I would have hoped to dwell deeper into the technical details but that would make the video difficult for the majority to understand. Hence, we decided to cover the respective CVEs that were capitalized instead so that a broader audience can appreciate the explain chain's full effects.
Windows 10/11 was the target in our video but the exploit chain is not limited to this, since any part of the chain can be replaced to fit the target of choice regardless of the OS.
What is you had a system that installs a local autonomous agent or grants access to a remote one and this agent just injects AI-generated content into websites and such, hijacks all of the tools the user has to see what it's doing with convincing forgeries, rewrites Wikipedia locally, etc, with the goal being to control the user's perception of reality and steer them in a particular direction? Discouraging them from touching grass or interacting with people in real life, etc? Like, can malware gaslight and compromise the user into doing what it wants?
"misinformation" In other words, we're no longer trying to hijack the system. We're trying to hijack the user.
"why is my GPU at 100%" "It's been compromised by Skynet."
Next the malware is gonna compromise the user to gain hardware level access to the motor control part of their brain
sec profis should know that neuralink is a bad idea.
@@xerofyme Decades of anime and film media, from Ghost in the Shell, Cyberpunk, and other culturally relevant scifi has already shown an endless slush of possibilities. I hope we can avert them all.
😢
Hit the algorithm 🎉
I can only assume the continuous buzzing throughout the video is an attempt at hacking my brain
Windows OS is full of loop holes better switching to linux is better.
Linux has many CVEs as well. All software can have zero days.
@Plazmal but those loopholes are visible to the masses and there's opportunity to find these before they get exploited... whereas in Microsoft is until they find out. Pick your poison.
@@zeus1141 I mean seeing the code does make it slightly easier, there's other ways to find vulnerabilities. After all, it's equally as difficult for a bad actor to find to find an exploit than a researcher. They're also on equal ground with open source. Code being open does not mean it doesn't have vulnerabilities that haven't been found yet.
lol...I'm over here just rooting for AI and hoping I live long enough to see it evolve to ASI. Anyone frightened of ASI should join a Cult/Religion and start praying.
