What Does $30 Buy at Auction?
In this video, we pick up the items that we bought at an online auction, haul them home, and see if we can make a few dollars. Most items are sold on Facebook Marketplace and a few are sold at a local flea market. A few things we even keep for ourselves.
Let us know if you would like to see more auction flipping videos. We are often the "dollar couple" and enjoy finding the value that others may have missed!

Demolition Day - $16000 Abandoned House Ep. 03
มุมมอง 4982 ปีที่แล้ว
We hope you enjoy watching as we continue to work on this house. Before any additional major repairs can be done, we need to gut the house and get it down to the studs. The best way to get a house gutted? Invite over a bunch of friends and give them sledge hammers and a bowling ball! In the future we will have additional videos with the home repairs and revival of the home itself.

$16000 Abandoned House - Roof Renovation
มุมมอง 1.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, we are repairing the roof on the abandoned house that we purchased at auction for $16000. We have a lot of work ahead of us to renovate this house. The neighbors joked that if a squirrel ran across the roof, it would fall through. They weren't far from the truth! Watch as we start to transform this cheap house back to its former glory.
Abandoned House and Beauty Salon Walk Around
มุมมอง 1.3K2 ปีที่แล้ว
We purchased an abandoned house and beauty salon. Our plans are to fix them up and make them usable again. They are quite the disaster, but we look forward to the challenge.
The more cute little b a l e s you got to get him a little longer the judgments on top of their own that on top of the Baylor the one that runs by the needles there is a clamp
Great to see all this old iron at work, well done! I loved watching the AC at work, and the IH flatbed was ocing on the cake! Im glad I came across this, its great to see the youth keeping the old traditions alive.
I am glad you enjoyed it! We certainly enjoy the old equipment too.
I remember the same bailer and tractor. I think we didn't have the guard on the right side of the bailer.
Good video,, like to see the old school still being used,, I bale 80 acres with a farmal 706, new Holland 273 baler, and home built wooden hay wagon ,, cousin and I take turns staken
Thank you. Keep up the hard work.
The metal rods that are underneath the rake need to be straightened so the teeth won't rub on them. Makes the rake a lot quieter and the teeth last longer.
Thank you for keeping the history of Allis Chalmers alive...
You are welcome. Thank you for watching!!
Through the coal to it let's go
That pto shield on the baler makes me nervous.
Old equipment like this is certainly not the safest.
Are you keeping the original doors?
We arent sure yet. My wife says yes and I say no!
I have those cheap cardboard doors at my house and hate them.
Hay hooks and hay chaps may be needed as you wear out your pair of jeans. Also, a pair of tweezers will be needed to pull the stickers out of your leg.
Stacking needs to be refined. The broken board on the truck bed is a broken bone hazard. Good luck.
Do you need me to bring my Farmhand over and pick up those bales? My Farmhand is mounted on my tractor and has a Hay Basket that will gather 12 bales and place them on your truck.
The New Holland baler seems to tie pretty good.
Bales seem to be a little bit short.
Short by design. Thank you for watching.
As your baler misses bale after bale, do you have a couple of pitchforks? These will be neeeded all day.
Only 1 broken bale this go around.
😀
Good job of making use of what you have and getting it done!
Thank you!
Get an I beam then you can do whatever you want. We all put one in Jason’s house.
It was a thought.
Plenty more room on that truck for some junk 😆🤓
I agree! As long as you keep it under 13' 😁
Next time maybe!
You've got some good stuff to start with. New Holland makes great baling equipment. You either need a kicker and a couple of kicker bale wagons or a bale shoot and a couple of flat bed wagons. That baler should be a good one, but you should try to find a tractor with a little hp to run it. Also, you really should find a shield for the pto shaft. I'd hate for one of you to get wrapped up in it. You can try and pick up equipment at local auctions or in classified ads. Best of luck to you. Big Iron auctions among other auction services.
Great advice. Thank you.
My father’s barn used to be home to a pair of AC crawlers. I still smile when I see that orangish-red. He also had a Cat 22, and a neighbor had a little Oliver crawler.
Those are nice crawlers!
Short britches?????????????
I make sure to fully wear them out!
How many children do you plan on putting into this house? It's really coming along!
Maybe not us - but someone can!
Go Maxine!!
Lots of bowling action lol looks like fun!
It was!
Girl Power!!
Your not going fast enough
Boy, do I wish TH-cam came with Smell-O-Vision™. I _love_ the smell of hay.
So do we!
Use the tractor's individual brakes to make a sharp turn.
Good point. I will keep that in mind.
Not good to stand on the back of the tractor when mowing.
Agreed.
That was painful to watch. How to make baling hay the most work possible. Maybe the camera lady should put the camera down and actually help. SMFH.
Believe it or not, we put up hay by hand a few years ago.
That New Holland baler model 268 brought back some great memories of my hay makin' days. 6 to 7,000 bales of hay and 2,500 bales of oat straw for my herd of dairy cows and youngstock!! I made my bales about a foot longer than what your look like. We had a chute on the baler and pulled a wagon behind and stacked them ad we baled. Good to see someone still using the older equipment. New just toooooo costly!!!
That is a lot of baling! Glad we could bring back some good memories.
I have some advice for you. When you get down to the end lift the sickle bar make a circle and drop it back it. You can't drag a sickle mower around a corner without making a mess or plugging. I cut hundreds of acres of hay with those back in the 80s Great video y'all, Love those old Farmalls.
Thank you. That is definitely the plan for the next round of hay.
Love your video, guys! Great to see you’re doing a good job with the old equipment. I believe in keeping the old tractors n equip alive (really just can’t afford new…) I’ve always worked with hand-me-downs and buy others at auction so as to have quite a variety to choose from. Y’all keep up the good work and keep the old ‘stuff’ a runnin. 👋
Thank you!
I love the sound of that old Allis. I spent many hours on one working it.
I am glad you could enjoy it like we did!
Awesome video. me and my wife baled lots of hay for nearly twenty years with small tractors and an old flatbed truck to haul it. The work is hard but productive God Blees Ya'll.
Thank you!
A whole lotta hay was put up in the day with those machines. It's great to see them still hard at it!
It has been fun!
Just finised my 2nd cut hay, Farmall C with sickle mower strugeld through heavy alfalfa and fox tail. Allis CA on tedder and rake and NH 268 pulled with Allis D 15 seris 2.
Good work! Sounds like a fun operation
Very nice video, I love to watch machines working the sound is to me very pleasing I am a male age 81 years old in a wheelchair for some 50 years I was a Mechanic fixing School Buses and outboard motors and loved my triad no, I'm not crazy just loved my work now that I found your channel I'm yours forever or until I pass if you know what I mean, GOD BLESS I come to you from a state called Connecticut remember I'll be watching.
Thank you. I am glad that you found us!
Hi Folks, Love the sound of that tracker when it's working
Thank you!
That WD brings back memories. Looks like your storing the tractors outside, put a bucket over the exhaust stacks to keep rain out of the engines.
Sheds are getting built this winter. Glad we could bring back memories!!
Always had a tim can in the tool box so we could cover the exhaust when away from the home place.
@@hubertbergen3000 Same here!
Use a lower gear with more RPM's, also use hand clutch so PTO continues so baler can run.
Agreed. If you let the tractor lug down that far, the baler is more likely to miss a knot.
yup definitely use hand clutch to get through the wads of grass..
We baled hayfor 30 plus years with a WD 45 Allis and a New Holland Baler. Those were hard days of work, but I do miss them from time to time
Glad we could bring back good memories!
Timen Eilander. (Netherlands) As far as I saw you working with these old timers, I think I can give you some tips. I think your sickelbar mower could use sharpening. And not only the moving knifes, but also the ones, that are positioned on top of the fingers. This wil get you a better shaven pasture. As I saw on your baling video, you had a fair amount of gras stil fastened to the soil. What also can give you troubles is the adjusting of the pushing down from the moving knifes to the stady ones on the fingers. When you take shims away from under these pushers, beware that it doesn't get too warm/hot when mowing. Some 40 years ago we had a tractor with a sickelbar mower and my dad had been a pro with these machinery in his younger days and he learned me how to do this.
Thank you for the advice. It definitely could use a few blades and rock guards. Always fun hearing from people around the world!
Loved the video.!I am following along and thanks for sharing yalls hard work days.
Thank you!!
love the sound !
Thank you
When raking you should always try to travel the same direction as when it was cut. It picks up the hay better.
Great advice
Use the handles on the baler rear to adjust the cords and have uniforme balle.
Thank you
Now you guys have done more farming than me. But I have grown up my whole life around Allis Chalmers and I found it is the best to use the hand clutch when backing up to equipment. It gives you a smother start.
I never thought of that. Thank you
Your welcome. My grandpa loved allis chalmers and when he passed away I got all his tractors. They were all Wd's and wd 45's so I have been working with them.. Last week I hooked up a brush hog to one and used the hand clutch to get a smoother approach. I figured I could pass along the advice. You guys are doing great. Keep it up. 💯 👌
@@isaacmonda4622 thank you. Enjoy your tractors!!
@@adventuresofjoeanddani5167 Thanks, you too.
Your new teeth are actually called tines ,my Dad used to hire a hay rake like yours but it looked quite modern in the 60s New Holland ?
Why the baby bales
Emergency bales that are easier to move for my pregnant wife.
