You know fair point sometimes they do miss, but most of the time it’s just that they don’t recover a enough at a decent pace I tried using Cloak and Dagger a couple of times before. I can somewhat use them just going have to put more effort into practicing with them, and there are some other support characters I want to practice with as well. Thanks it took us about 3 weeks at the time our reactions were priceless the plan from the very beginning after we all started with Rise as our first Monster Hunter game we all decided to take on Fatalis together as a team ! Thanks for the information how have you been, but fair enough on the glider mantle I can’t use it that well 😅 me and @sahlos really didn’t get the amount of stock or lives(That’s what we call them) for the hunt first hunt (I think can’t remember).Thanks 😊 for the appropriate number for the amount lives it does suck in World only when you have two people while in Risebreak everyone can bring their cats or dogs at least.(hopefully they can keep that for Wilds). This this hunt against her was still quite challenging !

@@abug7263 It is a reason why one of my team runs with Wide Range and Speed Eating. He heals and buffs the whole team without carrying Life Powder.

Actually since @sahlos has a lot more slot decorations than I do he is working on a support build like that as we speak

I haven’t played through DMC 5 yet that will be later on down the months I have seen the videos of him good lord is he insane and UMVC3 yeah I seen the videos and saw some of them live on TH-cam back then and I saw a video on him from @iheartjustice about him in that game. Yeah we popped off big time for that 😊was totally worth it in the end getting nuked every single time was getting to us I’m just glad it didn’t take us even longer than the 3 months 😓

Fun fact in my case I tried every other option before going full Safi armor like craft set I was not doing a lot of damage to contribute to the DPS check the other main issue then having a fourth person due to this game multiple player modifier 3 to 4 is not scaled effectively when you have 3 players the modifier will go up to 4 people and makes it that much harder 😑

@@abug7263 oh, never heard of 3to4 scaling issue. Still Rath blessing set with Frostfang barioth or KulveTaroth weapon gives more than enough demage to break element before it even reaches dragon state, the secret is to learn to dodge Al's attacks towards him and never away from him becouse he is designed in such way that all of his attacks are iframable. Its made this way to encourage very aggresive play and reward such behaviour with succesfull elemental break. I encourage you all to try and master him solo. Its a fair and fun challange when you get a grip on what to do 😊

We pretty much are fully done/ gotten the Materials with hunting Alatreon and we are kinda burned out against fighting him again 😂 if he shows back up in Monster Hunter Wilds we will definitely go after him again and (hopefully do much more better than before) also with the multiplayer modifier in Rise/Sunbreak if you have 3 players it does scale reasonably with the monsters HP and power and if people DC or have something else to do the monster will scale down as well however, in world if other people leave if it’s 4 players and you are the only one playing that monster would still have the same modifier of 4 players and not just you by yourself and with 3 people which was with us majority of the time and my friend @sahlos happened to look up the modifier for monsters and when we take on the Ultimate black dragon the game registers 3 people as 4 players. But we got very lucky with getting KT weapons with the CRT element and as you can see from my video we did learn his patterns just getting the DPS and lack of a 4th in this situation was rough. Trying wasn’t that bad I was at best just able to break his horns at best. Which was shown during the training arc portion of the video. I appreciate this discussion with you @herenaakuma85 do you play World on PC or PS5 ?

@@abug7263 Im playing on PC. I knew that if you have player that leaves a hunt the game will not scale down but i have never heard of the situation where 3 player game is registered and scaled for 4. For me Al is a fun fight and for my friend who had more problems with him he is now a favourite training dummy :P I hope that you'll learn to love him too, if you give him another 50 times XD Oh, and for elemental demage as you are playing IG you probabl;y just didnt play aggresive enough if you had problems to contribute to elemental break becouse im IG main too and elemental break is not a problem if I play aggresively enouugh. I use FF Barioth glave and Azure age set and im totally fine both alone and with my friend... assuming that i dont fail with my fighting skills ofcourse :P

@@herenaakuma85 Oh ok you play on PC and yeah being more aggro it's been more of new thing I've been finale able to do as of late (that's a whole another story for another time) But I don't have any ill will to Alatreon he was a great push to make me get more aggro and yeah we were a bit burned out after we got the win, but that was it (he not the first or last boss that would make me upset after getting beaten down lol). your IG ayyye IG unite !!!

(Ayyye Lunny good to hear from you again hope you been doing well) 😊Yeah as you clearly saw we went through a LOT of growth with this battle especially me 😓, but worth it for when it’s time to take on Fatalis we are going to need an extra 4th person. Hopefully with Monster Hunter Wilds the game will hopefully allow for cross play to become a reality your advice has been really helpful from the beginning when me and @sahlos started playing World!

@@abug7263 'Few' words of advice then since you haven't gone to Fatalis yet No more elemental check, this time it's just raw damage and survival. 30 mins, lots of health to go through. Head is the most vulnerable spot and also the hardest to hit for most of the time, so keep an eye for any openings where you can hit the head. You'll also want to break it to make the fight easier (it'll make sense much later why). Wings cannot be tenderized and are bulky, so going in the air for too long with the insect glaive won't be optimal if he's on the ground. Like every mount in this part of the game, he'll either flail, which you respond by moving around, or he'll do a charge attack (which you respond by holding on to him). It's not hard when you know what you're doing, but it's easy to get tricked. In doubt, just hold on as that's safer. Consider one teammate with level 1 Friendship skill to eat a Ration, as that'll give the person on the mount a stamina recovery too. Everyone* should stay close to him, and never behind him. Many moves do hit up close and are dangerous, but so long as no one over-commits to an attack, it's much safer than being far away from him. If you are far, be ready to superman-dive targetted moves, and to hide behind the small pillars for the flamethrower attack (it ONLY works for the flamethrower where he lowers his head to the ground, nothing else). Lastly consider one player who's good at dodging to have the Heavy Artillery skill on level 2. This fight encourages use of cannons and the ballista, as you get extra moments of knockdown on fatalis if you deal enough Heavy Artillery damage. You can even bring a Ghillie Mantle (yes you heard me right) to set up the cannons at Phase 1 to get an easy start up knockdown by shooting both cannons. Save the Binders for third phase onwards, where the fight gets harder. Positioning is 50% of your survival in this fight. And instead of trying to beat the timer on your first few attempts, focus on surviving and learning the moves. Every time you commit to a long animation without being sure that you do have an opening, he is VERY likely to punish you. Best of luck to you folks, you can do this! 👊

Hey fair enough on that Rise is my first and still love it problems and all 😄 I might do the crossover if I get a chance to do it, but we are slowly getting to the end game and also thank for your advice on how to get better with the IG out when using the slinger/ clutch claw still need to get used to pulling that off quicker 👍

Dang talk about staying alive I like using them some attacks you can dodge and some stuff you just have to just “try” and just take the blow

@@abug7263 Well Blackveil Vaal Hazak is where I got my armor. Also once you finish fighting him, you should be at MR20, which mean you can take on the event quest that is my favorite. "RE: Return of the BioWeapon" I recommend trying it.

I play Lance so I don't normally use Temporal/Rocksteady either, but I do quite enjoy using them for supporting my other hunters when in a group, since they allow you to freely tenderize, set up a wall flinch or to safely farm for a mount (if Glider Mantle is on cooldown obviously). A lot of other weapons benefit from those for doing damage though. But mainly I bring Temporal Mantle to Alatreon, so if he's not enraged and is flying I can just grab his head and shoot him down to the ground, which is a huge help to break parts (important for the quest) and to not waste DPS check time with him on the air. Health Booster for the Judgement so I can help heal people even though it's not really needed (and I could just bring Glider mantle for the deco slots and mount value boost).

How have you been ? I like using rock to help me stand my and Temporal UI Goku (lol) and help with getting out the way, but i do change them out when i need to@@justanotherLunny

It’s understandable if you don’t like Rise that’s fair, (It’s my first game and I know that it’s not perfect) but in the game we did get some more challenging monsters down the line, but Iceborne and world have taught me quite a bit that I was to use in Sunbreak down the line.

Understandable eggy (😂) it wasn’t that hard for me to get the handle of it in Rise, but definitely felt a little smooth in World in some areas

Thanks for your input that is things that I’ll keep in my and as I mentioned in my video I’m not going for being cool with the I.G just helping with giving out some information and your long experience with it from your perspective is really helpful as well

@@abug7263 if you want a decent armor to test out the skills I mentioned. Try the Xeno Jiva armor from HR, it comes with max Power Prolonger and Flinch Free, then slot in Airborne. Test out on a HR flying monster to see what I mean. I chewed through a HR Pink Rathian's health bar before my glider mantle ran out.

Wow really it worked well against him ? It was a good battle against Odogargon with the bleed prevention decoration made things a lot easier to handle
