Hi Lesley, As you start out the bobbin carries the skeins and also slides onto the forks to 'lock' it. At a later date you can use multiple bobbins as shuttles in advanced lucetting to create multi strand braids...see website thelucet.co.uk
Hi Ziggy. I met you at the NEC March 2016 and bought your lucet for my daughter who is studying textiles. She had her first go last night and your instructions were so clear to follow she got the fundamental and the fast grab really video is a very helpful addition.
In a short period of time, using my new lucet from Ziggy and the fast grab method I have produced half a meter of cord. Magic. With my old lucet this would have taken me a very long time. Thank you Ziggy!
