I'm not averse to a live action CGI hybrid Code Lyoko, I don't even think it's a bad idea. I just wonder about how doable it is on a television budget. Evidently it wasn't very.
If they were to do a reboot, I want to see it a mix with the original

I’ll reserve further judgement on evolution as I need to finish it myself, however I do feel that evolution is unnecessary as the original had a perfect ending that didn’t warrant a sequel series.
No offense to the live action, but they should’ve just animated the novels instead

I get kind of sad when I think of Evolution, because it had so much potential and the new animation looked amazing, but they just kinda dropped the ball and it was cancelled on a cliffhanger.
Maybe long time fans had been too hard on it
It's sad that this series didn't lived up to the original, but it's even more sad that it ended in a cliffhanger, leaving the story that had a decent ending with the original series now incomplete.
Well I think there is the novels which actually continues and then finishes the story off, tying up the loose ends like Carthage and Aelita’s mom. It takes place in a different timeline to evolution.
@@augustthenuz984 Those novels are not canon though and they made it as if season 1 never existed.

Watching this now, is reminding me to finish "Code Lyoko: Evolution." Considering I have yet to finish it. (Hard to believe it has been nearly a year since I started Evolution, and finished the original series. This goes to show how much can happen in a year.)
I watched some of Evolution, it's actually not that bad. Surprisingly it's a decent live adaptation.
All I'm saying is a lot has happened in the past year. Considering it now has been 2 years since I started to watch "Code Lyoko," a lot has happened since 2020. (For better, or for worse. If you know what I mean.)

Wielka szkoda że nie było oficjalnego covera tej piosenki po polsku. Przy napisach tłumaczenie wyszło kapitalnie! Gdyby połączyć to i aktora głosowego który śpiewał czołówkę KL sprzed... 16 lat (dziś jest rocznica emisji pierwszego odcinka KL w Polsce), idę o zakład że efekt byłby niesamowity Jeśli chodzi o samą ewolucję, nie uważam tego za "zły" spinoff, ale fakt - mogło być to zrobione lepiej

I can't say that I have ever heard of this "Code Lyoko: Evolution." I've heard of regular "Code Lyoko", but not this. Am I missing something, or what? Edit: I recently started to watch "Code Lyoko: Evolution," and I have enjoyed what I have seen so far. Edit 2: Now that I think about it, I do remember finding a picture of the Evolution versions of Odd, Ulrich, Yumi, Aelita, Jeremy, and William. Jeremy was sitting in his chair, and the others were gathered around him. At the time, I didn't know what it was from. I only knew it was Code Lyoko just by looking at them. At first, I thought is was from a Code Lyoko movie. (This what I originally thought Evolution was.) Now, I've gained a better understanding of it.

I'm gonna be blunt here, Evolution should never have happened, the show got its closure. Xana was defeated, the super computer shut down for good and the lyoko warriors vow that they will remain friends without it. There was no more left that needed to be told. Just another example of unnecessary sequels.

Might be unnecessary, but they did it for the fans. Everyone was begging, and they made. Because, they listen to what people requests, not like some other company. Well, atleast they did till 2014. And believe me or not, I would do anything for a new episode. Even only for one. This show made me wan't to start coding, and I cry every time I hear the intro of it. There is nothing wrong with your opinion, as it's yours. But keep in mind, MoonScoop was the best movie/animation making company.
To be honest, as a fan I wouldn’t mind as long as I have more to watch 🤣 it was heart broken when the team fell apart!
@@kimberley3475 Yeah, I was glad to see more Code Lyoko because I wanted more Jeremie and Aelita. That's it. And Evo wasn't even that bad honestly, it was watchable
Had there been a proper twist (i.e. Xana was reactivated but this time controlled by someone else) of if Laura was just an outright villian, it may have done well

Hi, no problem :) Just to let you know - this is not a 1:1 translation. The general meaning is the same, but I tried to make it rhyme a little and fit the pace of the song.
Evolution was a joke you can't make animated serious and it gets popular then turn it into live action LOL especially when original code lyoko was more funny

It wasn't even that, the writing in general was just bad. The acting was awful too not the actors, they tried their best but the acting and direction sucked.
I just hoping if they decided to continue the series, they keep using the old same animation ways
