Me and my Christian friends all laugh cuz whenever we go on dates that seem to go well, have great convo and views align, we get friendzoned by the other person. Maybe we’re too nice but it’s been our experience (guys and girls) over and over again. I’ve personally just let it go (25 now) and really focus on what God calls me to and I enjoy my free time to do things and lean into Jesus daily

it was really awkward... Weird mix of secular dating... Just my opinion, but Christians dating should come with a caveat of marriage. You don't date to fool around or to get to know people. If this is a pilot, I would assume this is just like all the other dating shows, but just comes with the supposedly these people are " Christian ", whatever that means... It would've been great to show what, dating means, what is Christian dating... etc... Just my opinions not, meant to discourage you guys/gals... Hope the best for you guys. Whatever form, may God be gloried.

The whole guarding your heart by not spilling everything in the early stages is a good point. I've personally found sympathy to be confusable with something else when getting to know a potential partner and the resulting emotions distracting from the question of whether or not someone is a suitable partner. As Christians we need to look for someone who not only accepts us, but more importantly will encourage us to grow and mature in our faith.

Anything with "dating show" as a Suffix is not Christian

Remember the purpose of marriage is Christ and the church, to glorify God rather than self gain

A true christian should be praying for there partners . Not going to these places. Ask God where to lead you for a partner.
