Same here. I originally did the whole 3M system where you sand them until the oxidation is gone and you step up to finer grades until its smooth and then polish. Doing that is effective for badly oxidized lenses however the uv coating is also removed and that causes mine to get yellowed much faster. I've even re-sealed them many times and although it slows the yellowing process down it still happens. There is a video I watched several months back where you sand them and completely re-clear them with what looks like a great system that practically leaves them like new with uv protection and they wont yellow for a really long time. I believe that's what I'm going to do next. If I find the video I'll post the link here.

@@eoll6322 Either sand them and get a bodyshop to clear them for you, or just buy some medium grade compound and use a drill and sponge pad, do it every few months and they stay pretty decent. Avoid parking facing the sun for long periods, it's a summer problem more than anything.

I changed the crank shaft sensor made no difference, I changed the camshaft sensor and got the car starting again (only just) now its cutting out again, new battery made no difference. so now looking at fuse box

on the grand scale of things and gauging it off all the turmoil going on in the world .... who gives a shite

Mate you could of bought another 4 for 5 grand.. cars are like gambling machines.. put some money into it but never chase the money you have in it because you will end up loosing big time

Add full bottle of injector cleaner into the drainage screw first of the filter first. To regain the atomization. My HDI 307 did that. Cutting out. Now I have a pd engine

@@aak9042 The FMIC is not required for stage 2 but recommended. A FMIC won't in iteslf give you more gains but what it does is prevent heat soak and loss of power when running hot (which you will quite quickly running that tiny turbo at high boost). Mine made 231bhp without the front mount, I've since fitted one and although it doesn't suffer from heat soak now I doubt I've made any real hp gains. It's always a worthwhile tune if you can afford to do it before remap but not 'necessary'

@@scottmckay9358 🤣👍🏽 im sticking with my 5 speed box. Its fine to be fair. I dont want to go any quicker. Too much tuning makes cars unreliable imo.

Tbh mines done 160 thou and these are bullet proof if there done right I've not had a problem and I give it some stick everyday

The rolling road centre it was dyno'd at was a petrol and diesel remap centre.. the tuning box was not going to get run the car was just going in for the dpf and egr delete and a dsg and ecu remap but brin at west yorkshire tuning said he would like to run the box just to see what power it actually made as he ain't tryed one before.. thank you

wow $1400 for the remap. ive noticed i watch alot of vlogs from different countries and the prices are 3x as much as the uk

In Ireland a rolling road remap costs £250 and the difference is night and day

The tdi tuning box gave me an extra 13 Hp for 400quid rip

it maybe for some people but not for us 😂

Did you replace the Tandem Vacuum Pump ? Was it an easy thing to install it ? How much in UK pounds did it cost for the part and labour ? Thanks for making the video.

To be honest no mate.. I thought I had fixed the problem... I serviced the car and I could smell diesel in the oil, even when i opened the oil cap. My friend said it's the diesel tandem pump gasket.. leaking diesel into the oil. I had that done.. ran fine after that.. filled the tank to the brim.. ran mint got to quarter of a tank.. problem started again.. everything got replaced on mine and still didn't work right

@@scottmckay9358 Exactly the same thing happened to me, randomly went away... Hasn't came back since, soo strange.

@@cvrpaddycvr I found if u have a full tank it wont happen only happens when you get to a quarter of a tank

ScottDriver UK yup exactly the same as me mate, although it's just went away, replaced everything maf, map egr delete, turbo, full service and was always ran on BP Ultimate diesel. Just stopped doing it lol
