Thank you for your input I appreciate it. That makes sense and a big difference. How often is the ferry trip from Caticlan to Odiongan ? And hi often is the ferry trip to Odiongan to Caticlan and vice versa? Will one be able to complete the trip in one day? Maybe we will try to use this route next time.Although we are prating and hoping that transportation to Odiongan from Manila and vice versa gets better. Thanks.

i wanted to post a comment on your Batangas to Odiongan video but comments feature is turned off. you mentioned that the boat trip was choppy and passengers had it rough. flying is actually an option. not the flight to/from Tugdan airport though as it is relatively pricey and only 2X a week, if Air Swift is still serving that route. the better option is flying the Manila-Caticlan route. there are multiple flights a day that one can choose from PAL, CebuPac, and Air Asia. all planes are bigger jets and prices are really cheap, especially if you book it ahead of time. all one needs to do is catch the Caticlan-Odiongan ferry and pick the Caticlan-Manila flight that will avoid the longer stay in Caticlan. i have long skipped taking the ferry to and from Batangas as the departure/arrival hours are so off that one can even hardly rest in the 8-hour journey. taking the plane to/from caticlan saves time and as i booked the flights way early, the two-way ticket cost is just a few hundred pesos more than the ferry fare. the ferry trip between Caticlan and Odiongan is about 2.5 hours which is about the same time as the Manila-Batangas bus ride.
