Since the VW Golf MK6 1.4TSI comes mostly with 16 inch rims as standard, did upgrading to the Golf R wheels affect ride comfort severely as well as performance? Am assuming the new wheels are heavier. Am considering upgrading the wheels on mine to the same.

The sound really comes and goes sometimes works sometimes not but it's always all or nothing never the odd speaker or anything like that. Just out of interest how much was yours to be sent off and repaired with those guys including the fee to get the quote? Although I know every amp will require a different fix. Cheers!
