Thanks, that's my biggest gripe about manual start. About how much were the parts?
It was under $100 in parts. Thanks for watching!
Do you have any of the "parts safe" for the base to store spare mantles?
I do have a couple of those! Pretty cool!
This video is "on track"
Thanks for watching!!
Very cool to see! I feel like the only time I would use the variable speed is if I’m cutting a plastic based material that seems to melt from the heat slowing the blade down might help reduce that? Other than that I have no idea what it would be used for.
I’m sure there is a special circumstance that would make it handy to have that feature, but I don’t know what that circumstance is.
That is amazing!
I’m glad you enjoyed yourself guy that I’ve never met!!
Thank you for the review. I have been looking at track saw options and this looks like a good one. I like the dust collection fix too!
It was my pleasure. Sometimes I like to see how the average weekend warrior DIY’er thinks of a specific tool. You can get a lot of specifications from a professional review, but usually they aren’t using the tool a lot before the review.
How do you like that Bostich stapler? I have been looking at these lately.
It's kinda bulky but it works well. I’ve used it on several projects now and so far so good! Thanks for watching Ben!
Having a seat with a back rest is a huge upgrade. Good job installing these.
Thanks! And Yes, so much better with a back rest!!
Preheating is cheating. C'mon man!!! Haha! Another sure fire way is to follow the instructions printed on the side..... but... Dang, I forgot! Real men don't read instructions either. Seems we have a conundrum on our hands. Preheating works whether you can read or not. Go with what works for you.
Can you munt those on a pedestal?
I don’t see why not Bill!
Electrifying video
Ha!
Sat on some Millennium seats before, They definitely are very nice and comfortable!
Yes, worth the time and money to upgrade!
Solid work. Subscribe!
Thanks! And thanks for subscribing!!
1963 ….works every time…old Coleman is the gold standard.😊
Very true, they don’t make them like they used to!
Great video! What screws did you use?
They are Teks 2 3/4” self-drilling screws wood-to-metal. I bought them at Lowe’s.
I had the newer version, and it lasted 6 months.
Must not be as good as the old ones!
Great video. This really is an upgrade everyone with a pull start outboard should consider!
Thanks Ben, it keeps my jon boat from sinking, I use it to charge the battery that keeps my bilge pump running!
That Would be a very nice bring along on a camping trip
Yes sir! A must have when camping!
50/50 what? 50 paint and 50...water? No primer?
Yes, half water, half whitewash. No primer. Good luck!
Great job! I think you inspired me to get an old "Jon" boat and try this out myself!
They're great little boats to work with, thanks for watching!
Nice! Glad to see an old boat get some love!
I like the old ones the best!
This is really helpful. I might be doing something similar in the future and I am dreading it.
It isn’t really that bad, but the bags do get heavy after 25-30 of em.
nice work!
Thanks!
Looks great! very nice tie in from the driveway down to the patio! Also cool tool for tying ties haven’t seen that before!
Thanks for watching!
how much
For the lantern? I gave $8. Thanks for watching!
Great stuff!
Thanks for watching!
You have to clean the tip first. If you haven't used it for a while make sure you oil the plunger.
Yes, they won’t pump any air if they dry out! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
Just scored one coue weeks back. Used it as a table top heater, outside of course.
I’ve done that as well, I actually have a heater that looks like a old coffee can with a handle that clamps on top of the stove, when the “can” heats up it puts out a lot of heat! Thanks for watching!
Brilliant !
80 percent of the time it works every time!
i did it last night and the fire scared me and i turning it on high not off and flooded it
Its gonna burn with a lot of flame in the first few seconds.
Beautiful backround view of river :) Enjoy Coffee ☕ on the Balcony! 👍🇨🇦
thanks for watching!
You need to clean the generator if you really want to get it to work
They do have a tendency to get gummed up, thanks for watching!
You made that seem so easy!
I’ve had lots of practice! Thanks for watching!
Looks like shit
Before the internet as it is today; while fishing in Thurmond Lake, Clark's hill around 1998, I hooked one of these from the bottom of the lake. After cleaning it up, replacing the duel mantles, replacing the glass, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was in perfect working condition. I contacted Coleman with the model number to ask about the manufacturer date. I was told that the model was from 1973. Six months later, while night fishing below the same dam, I accidentally knocked it off the ledge back into the same watery grave where I'd resurrected it six months earlier. I sure hope someone else saved it. By the way, I never knew this was the correct method for lighting it.😮
Thats a great story! They are pretty tough but the rust will get to them eventually. I’m not sure this is the “official” way of lighting them but it's the simplest. Thanks for watching and I hope someone was able to fish that lantern out after to dropped it as well!
Power wash it too !!
Nooo don't paint brick wtf 😒
Well, sometimes the people want them painted, definitely not for everyone! Thanks for watching!
how to get the sixe foe the high stairs
thanks for watching!
These are know as petromax lantern 🏮 in Mumbai
Cool fact! Thanks for watching!
John, your shop is way too clean!! You making the rest of use look bad!!
Thanks Bill, I wish it was even cleaner!
Great job Jon! I need to build some of these too!
Thanks Ben, and thanks for watching!
That vent is a great idea. Besides roasting it would be great for soldering, types of 3d-printing, or using some of those stinky wood finishes. Heck, you could put in an electric BBQ and grill there! :-)
It really has been handy to have!
Nice job Jon!!
Thanks for watching Bill!
Great intro !
Hilarious!
Getting dizzy from this one! Love it!
Imagine how dizzy you get filming it!
I really hope he doesn't just blow everything into the road
It's blown into an empty lot next door, thanks for watching!
Cleaner than mine!! You got me there.
I'm not gonna hold it against ya, Bon keeps ours pretty clean!
Definitely cleaner than mine!
Not much competition so far, better get out there and clean that driveway!
Jon - we also feed the local deer. I just need to install a sprinkler system to keep the plants fresh for them.
That was my plan, works well so far!
