Generally you should avoid buying too much, or at least posting too much for those exact reasons. Ultimately you can only learn to adapt to your realm by trying (and failing a bit). Generally speaking: Spread out over more different materials to avoid getting caught, prioritize items that sell in larger volumes (the jowls are mostly used in stacks of 1, 2 or 3, compare that to herbs where an alchemist will buy hundreds in a session). If you aren't selling too many jowls per repost I would also suggest reducing the cap on number of auctions to save on deposits, check how many you typically sell and post about that amount. Your goal should be to target items with enough margin even accounting for some deposit losses (which is unaviodable with my strategy and settings as I don't really try to be the cheapest). You can also slash prices a bit to increase your sales, 5% profit and getting your money back can be better than waiting for 20% profit.

It works on hardcore, there's no real difference addonwise, might be missing automated pricing data on some realms though.

@Stompy1984 i would say absolutely at any time if you wanna play loads of people around but if you plan on wanting to make gold there are still a lot of opportunities just have to look around a bit i already started to pile up for phase 3 with darkmoon faire turnin materials and other stuff

We shouldn't be making it *easier* for people to manipulate the AH. There should be an opportunity cost involved. It should be tedious and annoying to some degree, that friction is good for the game.

It still is fairly tedious even with tsm. To say playing the AH takes no amount of effort is just wrong

@@bh-0330 That's not what I said, but the addon provides a massive edge, which is obviously unfair.

If you want to post more than my settings do at the time then you would need to add another operation, or increase the post cap. I prefer not to post too many items as expirations cost you the deposit, so keeping fewer on the AH is an advantage.

This approach doesnt really work in retail due to the region wide AH sadly, so I dont do this on retail anymore.

Probably going to focus back on retail as 11.1 approaches

It works for some of the servers now, if yours doesnt work you can substitute atrvalue from auctionator or similar and do the same thing.

Do you have the TSM Desktop App installed? If so, reboot your WoW whilst it is running, it will automatically detect your realm and start syncing the auctions.

Alch is a volume driven gold making option. You gotta flip a ton of pots for ~20%-40% profit on average which can net out to be <40s each. It does work though. I also did the same thing as what TLG described in 2019 and farmed 10k+ gold. Just buy herbs on the weekend or weekday mornings when it's cheap, craft, and then post in the evenings

@user-ux3jp9oo7r mate I did watch that and have made thet setup. TSM made it so they send data out now, as I wanted to know how he got that data, but TSM have said that they missing Spineshatter horde so thats why I missing data and he is not.

@1991mho Bro rewatch/reread ... the api for the anniversary servers isn't there, therfore u should use manual scanning and that's how u get the "tsm data"
