I'm surprised, you're the only reactor who thinks that Leorio is young. Everybody else thought he's 30 or 40 because he looks old, also his attire is not a proper attire for a teenager. Leorio is 19, Kurapika is 17, Gon & the white haired kid are both 12. I hope you continue reacting to this masterpiece, it gets better later on. Some reactors discontinue it because they find this hunter exam arc boring due to slow pacing & it's more on the story & character build up than fight scenes. But I promise you you won't regret it 😊

Its just amazing in a world that only needs power to survive, a nornal 15 yo girl saved the straw hats and avoided the madness at sabaody, no haki and no devil fruit powers, just a courage and hope of a lil girl ❤❤

This was an interesting project to animate for the anime’s 25th anniversary which is based on One Piece novel Straw Hat Stories written by Tomohito Ohsaki where it focuses on a person in the world as they learn about 1 of the Straw Hats, but this takes a few of them (Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Chopper, & Franky) & merge them together taking place at the Return to Sabaody - Nami was with the little girl who is fan of cool female pirates (in the novel it was a 20 year old man), & she is voiced by Kokoro Kikuchi who is the voice for Toko & Reina - Luffy was with the 2 brother Marines (older brother voiced by Yasuyuki Kase the voice of Big News Morgans while younger is voiced by Hiroki Takahashi Queen & Bill), but there is a bit of a change with them now stationed in Sabaody - Zoro was the drunk men in the bar talking about who is the strongest swordsman, but this took place in Dressrosa & the 3 are voiced by Yasuhiro Takato (voices Bepo, Zepo, Buffalo, Butchie, Mr.9, Peterman, Satori, Hotori & Kotori), Ryouta Takeuchi (voices Bavarois), & Takuya Kirimoto (voices Cracker) - Chopper was with the Marine who can’t help find Chopper cute (voiced by Jiro Saito who also voices Orlumbus, Snack, & Rampo) & known as the Benevolent King of the Waves, but they changes this with instead of being a simple warship to a toxic substance to destroy ship’s coating & that instead of the little girl delaying them it was the Kuja Pirates - Franky was the woman in the bookstore (voiced by Yuka Komatsu who also voices Sally Isntoinette & Momousagi / Gion), but in the novel she is place in Water 7 where she hears word about Franky from many citizens like the 2 boys we see in this replaces Michael & Hoichael - Now they could have done Brooks but they did not focus on a boy who went to Brook’s last concert

The funny thing is one of the gang leader of Yakuza in Japan is a chopper fan and has a chopper tattoo on his leg.

I can't understand how people watch this without crying

I really love this special. Currently now my most favorite work of animation. 🥲 It's a unique experience to witness the perspective of ordinary civilians in the world of One Piece and yet this special produced one amazing story in it. That little girl inspired by Nami has been amazing in this special, and she is such a cutie too! 🥰 Thanks to her trespassing and distraction in the Navy ship that the Marines lost their attention to the Straw Hat Pirates who they were supposed to attack. She saved the Straw Hats even though none of the Straw Hats know about it, but she is happy and proud that Nami is safe to continue with their voyage. 🥲 I wish more future episodes can be animated like this, because this animation is on a whole new level! 😍 Very thankful to the director Megumi Ishitani and the animator Keisuke Mori for delivering us this masterpiece in storytelling and animation. 😭 Great reaction! 👍 I love this special so much that I've been watching it over and over, hahaha! 😅

This episode was wonderful, it is incredible to be able to see it from different perspectives and how the straw hats have influenced different people.

there are diffrent side stories for each straw hat.... sanji's is "A girl is in the middle of a boring date at the Baratie. Actually she is there to meet and enquire about Sanji."..... they only adapted a few of them
