I used to live in Whitehill Road too.... what a small world!!
Interesting to see Newmarket Road then, compared to the dump it is now.
I'm born in the 2000s but I'd rather live in this time of era just wow
I was born in 1993 and i always say i feel like the 70s-90s were the best time of life, followed by the early 00s which were decent too. The only downside is probably technology, it does have alot of useful sides aswell as negative ones.

Brings back a few memories though i was still young when we moved away from Harsdon... remember the traction engine rallies though,,smiles.
I feel stupid. Came here because I thought it was Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The good old days before people had televisions, cars, washing machines, microwaves, showers (and baths in many cases), credit cards, central heating, internet, cheap travel all over the world, 50% going to university etc. Average life expectancy 52. I wish I could go back.

This is the town that gave the world 3/5 of Pink Floyd ..... Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Syd Barrett all grew up there in the 40s, 50s and 60s.

@@THTSound I knew that but was just having fun over here. I grew up in one and have been to yours so I get it. I have a cousin who works in Cambridge, your Cambridge, but on the post itself it just says "Cambridge" and there are many over here in the U.S.
