Very cool I love farms
This is awesome. It reminds me of my childhood. I love gardening 😄💯
What time of year are you rooting and how often?
Who's that sexy young man doing the voiceover?
Seems like a good dude, experienced with what he does too.
I enjoy your existence
Looks like you talked to Marlin to grab a great spade.

I like the effort you put into prepping the tree before planting, Where I work we usually only get to throw them onto the planting platform and then into the ground. That can give issues with large root masses, Then go along after and head prune. Only prep varieties that are clearly all going to cause issues.
Thank you for this video! I really enjoyed it, and am pleased to see the farm thrive. I worked there in the summer of 2003 on of of the delivery trucks. My 5 year old is currently fascinated with trucks and cranes, and I was able to show him what I did… I know, probably not the intended purpose of the video!
Thank you for the comment! We are glad to hear you were able to enjoy the video with your son. The legacy of this farm is extremely special - thank you for being a part of it!

We love planting trees! Thank you for your comment : )
Would you care to lead me to info on pruning tips to train young trees so they’ll grow to a nice shape? Especially, an ornamental (Prairie Fire) crabapple planted in honor of my first grandchild. It will be coming into its third growing season.
We recommend pruning in dormancy. Prune any dead branches, suckers, and any water sprout branches. After that is completed, we recommend pruning to reduce crowding/cross-over branches. Ensure the leader is in good condition and prune the shape around it. If there is any doubt of what to prune we recommend calling a professional pruning service for the best results leading to a healthy and happy tree long term.
