It was in mid 80s I first heard this song while eating lunch at Ramprasad testosterone op Egmore station, Madras. That moment is so clearly instilled in my memory. After countless listenings, it still remains amongst my top 10 Ilaiyaraja. Coming back, or forward rather, this tension by Shaswati and Hari is evidence that it works even without its lovely sitar/guitar rhythm section. Well done!
