Traveling around the world through work and vacations- showing the places by bicycling, walking, running and hiking.
Get Wrecked Moreton Island Australia
@Dean_Trips's Dean visits Moreton Island near Brisbane, Australia in January 2025. Dean books a day tour through TripAdvisor with Australian Sunset Safaris. www.sunsetsafaris.com.au. The trip departs from a couple different locations and Dean meets up with the tour operators at the Brisbane Coach termianl and takes the sunset safaris bus to the port to board the Micat Ferry to Moreton Island. The ferry trip takes an hour and a half each way. Once on Moreton Island the tour begins with snorkeling for Dean's blue wrist band group. Wet suits, and all equipment is provided (although Dean brings along his personal snorkel and mask). The snorkeling is wonderful with many fish and a sea turtle at the beginning and sting rays and a wobbegong shark (not dangerous) sighted towards the end of the 45 minutes in the water. The snorkeling is followed by a clear kayak tour of the Tangalooma Wrecks (ship sunk on purpose to form a barrier). Finally a trip inland takes the group to go sand boarding down the dunes. All in all a fun day!

Very nice Video Thanks. I going in February 26 I can't wait 🤗 all the Best
@@zdenkoaleksic1893 Thank you! I’m sure you will have an amazing time!!!
Awesome!
Hi Dan - would u rate this hike as dangerous? Coz i m not experienced in hiking 😅
@@aleeyh69 I would not rate this hike dangerous at all. It’s easy to stay on the path and anytime it gets close to the edge there are chains to protect you from getting too close to the edge.
@@Dean_TripsThx Dan! Really appreciate your assurance!!
Nice. Stayed in Coogee many years ago for a few days of our Australian Vacation. Brought back memories.

For some unfortunately it can be a difficult time so I feel blessed that I am fortunate to be able to enjoy it.

@ Could it be Rome?
@ No. We’ve been to Rome about 4x and I found your videos very helpful in navigating the ancient city. Let me give you a hint: The hotel where you made your No 4 most popular video.
Love it. Miss Salzburg
Nice Dean !
Thanks!
Nice walk. Thank you for sharing. Warm wishes from Prague 💛💛💛
Thank you too 😊
Hi Dean, great video! I also enjoy videoing my underwater adventures, especially in the Maldives! I'm considering this Cinnamon resort for my next trip. Reef looks very good! Subscribed! :)
Thank you! The reef is very good. I believe the reef is what makes the Cinnamon resort worth the trip there.
Great video!! I am going to to korea next May and I am planning to do this, but I have some questions: Is the baegundae peak possible for an inexperienced hiker? Can you do this hike with regular trainers? Is the trail easy to get lost?
Thank you. I believe this hike is very doable for an inexperienced hiker. I would just suggest to pace yourself and bring enough snacks and drinks to refuel along the way. Regular trainers would suffice as long as it isn't raining a lot which would make the rocks slippery and get your feet all wet. The trail is very well marked and also has lots of hikers, so it would be difficult to get lost. There are many trails on the lower parts but lots of signs to keep you going in the direction you want to go.

These lions are rather domestic animals than wild.
@@pjaro77 They do have that kind of appearance. I have heard that an antelope has been chased down before during these “walks”.
Nice! This is a great hike for those looking for a payoff in the form of views.
Thanks you, yes, the views are wonderful!
That's a pretty nice, easy hike going to the falls. The waterfall is spectacular, and you have three different areas viewing it, plus the front island ❤❤❤❤
Yes, thank you for the comment- It's worth it to see the falls from all of the viewing areas,
@Dean_Trips I remembered we visited that sometime April or june. The water flowing is in peak volume I can't cross that island. it should be a spectacular video

Thanks for the dean, may i suggest just a little thing, the background music is a bit too powerful and tiring and it's a little hard to catch up to what you're saying. I had to pause the video for a while to rest my ears before i continue to watch it. but thanks anyways !!

Amazing views of Swiss Alps 😂
I recently watched your video and found it amazing! Your content is awe-inspiring. To increase your viewership, you might want to enhance your video SEO and keyword strategy. Your current SEO score and keyword optimization seem to be low, affecting your visibility on TH-cam’s recommendation page. We can schedule a meeting to discuss this, or I can explain more about video SEO.
@@ABU_BOKKUR Thank you. For the time being I am still just playing around a bit in making these videos and just am seeing the channel grow organically.
@@Dean_Trips But SEO friendly optimization of your video will get more views and subscribers. SEO will help you to increase Jai Baba. Your videos will rank on the first page of TH-cam
The combination of mountains, green trees, and the sound of the flowing river made the hiking vlog truly captivating. I especially loved the sound of the water-it’s one of my favorites. It fit perfectly as background noise in your video. If TH-cam is more than just a hobby for you, you might want to focus on improving your video hooks, thumbnails, and optimization. These can help boost your CTR and average view duration. I’ve subscribed for your upcoming videos. Best of luck!

Not going to lie, this was one of the hardest hikes I've done and I would consider my self fit. The guide I was with was a legend, he was not even breaking a sweat!
@@TheDotdotdot0 It’s a surprisingly difficult hike but worth it! We were so sore the next day 🤣
Hello Dean. Could you please share a little bit of your experience with the people and food? #AroundTheWorldWithDean
@@DrBsy The Portuguese seem very friendly and helpful. Their command of the English language is exemplary. I try my minimal Portuguese vocabulary to get started but the conversation quickly moves to English as they recognize my limited command of their language. It’s a little slanted to fully recognize the true friendliness as most the people we deal with are associated mainly with tourism and tourists which economically makes sense to be friendly for good business. To comment on the food is a little more difficult as we are preparing most of our meals at our Airbnb as my wife as specific dietary needs. She’s on a mostly protein diet. The times we have eaten out we’ve found the food fair to good and mostly economical. Last night we ate at a lovely place with a nice view of the Douro River and ate seared tuna and octopus with a delicious goat cheese starter. The seafood is especially good anywhere along the coast. Inexpensive meals can be found most anywhere as well. Just across the street from our place is a small bakery that sells sourdough bread and mostly English speaking people are lined up to purchase from there on Saturday mornings. There must have been something nice posted somewhere on the internet 🤣 My wife found a butcher at the food market hall in Braga that was recommended to her and she says the beef from there (grass fed) is the best she’s had. Overall I’d say the food is good to excellent. We just haven’t eaten out all that much.
@@Dean_Trips Thank you so much for the heads up about Portugal. We are excited and looking forward to seeing the country next year. I’m already looking at accommodation and places to visit with my family. Your comments about the food and the people are reassuring. Thank you so much Dean 🙏. #AroundTheWorldWithDean
