It does indeed. I’ve since returned this iron and replaced it with a Tefal but it’s hose also heats up after a period of use

When u hold the iron’s handle the button is pressed automatically, it needs to be pressed continuously.

For this price, this iron is really good. If you need a better one, it will easily cost you around 350-450 euro.

That only happened the first two three times it’s gone now. Only a steam sound is left .

@@aygulmammadova9623 I do hear this knock but maybe once in two or three weeks that’s it. If it’s not effecting the performance and not bothering u that much leave it otherwise I’d email Phillips a video and see what they say.

Yes it’s a gentle spring loaded button easy to press as part of the holding mechanism too . Needs to be held while ironing as it keeps blowing steam otherwise if it was on all the time .
