You are trying to flatten boards with a thickness planer? I do not see any method to prevent springback after the rollers compress the cup.
No, I'm getting down to 1.25" thick before ripping into 1.25" square sticks.

No problem. To start you off as easily as possible, you can, you can get a kit like this: www.amazon.com/Beadsmith-KUMIKIT1-Kumihimo-Starter-Kit/dp/B005EV1K9K/ Or you could start out like I did. Cut out a circle of cardboard and cut 16 or 32 notches around the edges and get 4 or 8 skeins of DMC cotton floss.
@@torin3 Thank you. I'll go check it out. I'd love to learn. I definitely need to start basic my focus needs simplified steps then building more on. But this is something I'd love to learn and will definitely help with my focus whilst giving me a fun hobby! Creativity is important and I'm really happy I found your channel. Thank you. I'll go check this out. Maybe my husband will join me, he made a wee dream catcher once, loved it and is a Carpenter so he is great with making things and seeing a bigger picture plus he is all just peace, love and creativity except it's our dog that's always on his lap looking for cuddles!🥰🙏🏴
