I sure wish I could be in your classes. Great job explaining the registration. Thank you.
Very informative. Thank you for telling there are other options to consider.
Hi, what kind of acid do you use? Thanks , Ben
With zinc we use Nitric acid diluted 1:8 or 1:10 with water
Thank you so much for sharing your techniques and insight. May I ask what kind of press you’re using?
This is a great video!
HO Nate, very helpful video, thank you. I was looking for a troubleshooting video as I have just made my first failed screen stencil with the fluid/filler method, but i didn't have all the little details that you've given here, which I'm very glad to know now.
pity the camera isn't actually focused on what you're showing your viewers.
please adjust the camera
"You, of course, would be using goggles and gloves." -every printmaking teacher, ever ;-)
great explanation on aquatint ! Have you tried the mezzotint approach (reductive aquatint)?
Thank you so much this is very helpful.
Very helpful, thank you!
Thanks nate
This video was so so helpful! Thank you so much!!!
Good thorough demonstation. Thank you.
Am particularly fond of Charles Brand etching presses. Believe it or not, "back in the day" I actually met the aging Brand brothers in their east side NYC shop. Now I own several etching presses, but sadly not a Charles Brand press.
Charles came here ages ago to fix one of our litho presses. Different era now.
Thanks for the video... but the head-cam was a bit dizzying... why didn't you check embossment pressure using similar plate (in thickness to what you will print) as well as damp paper you plan to print on?
nicely explained !!!!
Excellent video, highly appreciated. Just about to purchase my first press to start monotype art!
@gopro what the hell is with the shaking?
