There is nothing wrong with finishing at another time. Many before you who may have hiked far more paths, so postpone the rest until you feel motivated to finish, maybe next summer. I'm really impressed at what you have done so far. Think about it.

The Mexican place looked like a place I went to in Waynesboro. It appears you pitched your tent in a low spot. It looks like the bear was injured. It appears you can befriend creatures of the forest just like Snow White.

Hi! I am enjoying your TH-cam videos. I’m cheering you on. I am a section hiker and do not like hiking alone. One of kids (son) goes with me usually on the AT. You should keep your Garman. You hike alone during the day. If you fell or needed help that could save you.

I’m so proud of you for doing this fun and challenging adventure. It makes me feel like I wish I was with you, challenging myself my body and at the same time enjoying the terrain. It looks amazing. Keep going! Keep moving those feet one in front of the other. Know that I am rooting for you and can hardly wait for you to tell me in person any additional adventures you had. Take care.

An amazing view - just gorgeous at Spy Rock! And gosh, that rattler just keep coming towards you, haha. Hang in there! I hope you didn't listen to the guy who did your pack shake-down.....it's a balance between the little comforts and weight.

I'll bet when you watch this again after hiking for over 1,000 miles you will say "I'm so glad I didn't give into Satan plan!" He is wearing on you but have faith and push through. Relish knowing you are stronger than you even know because you have come so far already. I'm so envious of your determination right now. I'm getting my walking in as a plan for being able to see alot of Australia in September. You motivate us all in one way ir another. I'm prying for you and I know God is looking out for you every step you take. Even the serpent couldn't touch you and it looked like he really wanted to be right with you! It is incredible to feel so strong at such an age. I'm 64 and just had to get off the trail at mile 972. Best wishes and happy trails to you.

Stomp every now a then snakes feel vibrations and bears are afraid of humans, well the small ones, ive heard to play dead with a bigger one.

You go girl, as a 60 plus woman, I'd love to be able to hike but I'm in a wheelchair and routing you on and do it for all us mature woman
