Every Christmas we break out the Christmas carols, but do we know what we're singing about or what the biblical basis is for the song. In this Christmas sermon series seeking to find just those answers. This week we look at the different names for Christ used in O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.

With the Thanksgiving Holiday this week we take time to look at Psalm 107. In this psalm the psalmist encourages the redeemed of the Lord to give thanks. Specifically we are encouraged to give thanks for the Lord's "chesed" a Hebrew word that is often translated to steadfast love or lovingkindness. Join us in seeing what this means and why we should indeed give thanks.

Today we consider the 23rd Psalm. This is one of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. However, is it like a familiar song that we sing along to on the radio but we never really stop to think about what it's saying? Today we take a closer look at this beloved Psalm and seek to understand it better.
