Phlogius sp. “rubiseta" - Australian Tarantula Mating
It started off with a “bang” and then it went a little rough… the mature male had up to 4 successful insertions (i think), but the female was not fully convinced of his charm at certain moments (she was slightly tense)… i eventually got him out safely… (3 mating attempts, 1 weekly - I gave enough time for the male to produce a sperm web and charge up his palps with the sperm) hopefully we’ll have an egg sac by 3 months (including time to make the egg sac and incubation period) :-)

Flo, our pet T finally gets to go walkabout and as you will see, she seemed to enjoy this outing! She is a wild caught T and has been with us for 4 months. My daughter did the video recording & it was a little shaky & out of focus at times...she did her best!... she assisted in tickling Flo on her spinnerets (bottom of abdomen), so Flo could waltz back into her temporary plastic container! That's crazy that the barbed hairs they release are very much like asbestos fibres and the damage they do.
I have over 50 tarantulas living in my house. Fascinating creatures

The USA is losing at war and I'm covering the story, but look carefully how they aren't as good at covering my insults up, but they are found out, so I'm prey on them.
Quick, the humans!

I had to flag this for misinformation as tarantulas, don’t all have a bite, like a bee sting, that is utter rubbish ! African and Indian tarantulas all carry medically significant venom look it up ?

Fascinating yes, though I get the heebie-jeebies rather quickly.
i no longer like tarantulas ever since i learned they eat birds and snakes
😱😱😨😰 evil of spider fear

I knew the part with the centipede sounded familiar. What a trip lol
I feel sorry for the snakes.
I haven't killed a spider since I was a kid. Even though I'm terrified of them. I was itching the entire time watching this.
The film camera:…. I’ve seen things man… 🤣
41:15
The males don't inseminate with their front legs, they are called pedipalps
" ...this Centipede is a predator." **beat drops**
The venom from some new worlds may be equivalent to a bee sting but that's definitely not true of all. The venom from old world is much worse. If you got bit by something like a poecilotheria metallica you could still be getting pain etc weeks and sometimes even months later
spiders are incredible and most arent dangerous they're very misunderstood like sharks
Cool spider, looks calm and happy, nothing wrong with handling your tarantula every now and then.
Spiders are friends NOT foes!
That it's a spider
What's that it's a goliath.
We don't need those nasty monsters , kill them !
5:11 This one?
Very good enlitening and factual video refreshing for u Tube thank you
Highly recommend this if you've not seen it, even if you're well versed in information on Arachnids...
This documentary was my childhood:3 BTW, 12:01 Has it been confirmed yet what species of spider is this? I never knew…
All spiders are arachnids but not all arachnids are spiders
A Tarantula bite is no worse for you than a bee sting? Yeah mate. You telling me that it can kill a fully grown Elephant but it's not dangerous to humans? In what universe?
A King Cobra's bite can kill an adult elephant
In this universe no one has ever died their venom is not strong enough to kill you
