เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 28 ก.ค. 2020
Hello friends, my name is Jason and I have been teaching Art and creative thinking in our public schools for 18 years. After being challenged by my students to start a youtube channel for several years I finally did during the lockdowns of covid. I try to focus on my newer passion of wood working but can not help sometimes working with the forge or making Ceramics. I’ll even do a product review once in a while but only if I have used that product for some time. Now that I am finally monetized I try to stay focused on My wood working projects as to not confuse the woodworking algorithm. But I still refuse to bow to youtube and break those rules sometimes. I also love doing projects I have never done before as it brings a certain challenge I enjoy while at the same time sharing what I learned when doing a repeated projects. I hope you subscribe and enjoy the projects I do and the knowledge I share. Let's create!

Paint Chip repair on red 2013 Ford F150
มุมมอง 3621 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video I show how I use a Paint chip repair pen from the Ford dealer to fix all the peppering on the front hood of my truck. It takes an hour but in the end it looks so much better and hides the chips. Up close it looks like water drops but from about five feet you just see smooth paint.

Cutting board / Tray table

In this video I use the concept of a Mockup to develop a new idea using two common woodworking projects; The cutting board and The tray table. Often a mockup will make one or both of the original projects even better. For example having the traytable lifting up the cutting board you can now just slide the cut food into a bowl without having to lift the cutting board. If you enjoy this kind of c...

Have a little fath! 😂
do you still recommend this saw for very occasional use like once a year to cut some firewood (1 or 2 cords worth) ?
Yes, but let it rest every 15 min don’t let overheat or plastic parts inside will melt.
Friends you can take off the cap over the motor with four screws and see the oil pump. But it’s a new style and less obvious if it’s working.
A thinner blade would work so much quicker and easier.. that blade you're using is for thick metal taking thick chunks... Those tubes are like 1.5/16th inch, which is actually pretty thin,
@@mikee33oo ya but it makes a clean cut! I should have pushed it down against the cement let it flex and cut it flush.
Good video, sad quality is gone. The Milwaukee cordless leaks oil and melt or stretch with bar mount plastic hold studs for bar
Where is the plug to battery pack located so it can be recharged? I couldn’t find any reference to it.
There is no plug. You clip battery charger clamps to Pos & Neg terminals.
My friend and I worked at it for 3 hrs and couldn't get the socket on from the top or wheel well. Not sure if its worth trying for everyone.
@@kidnickles213 wow that’s crazy. Ya it’s no easy.
2000 grit dry then wet with soapy water then buff it out with compound then hand wax it!
@@uneikimageTheTexasBuilder I can do that! My touch up paint is raised so the 2000 grit should make it flush right, and a buff to make it shine.
You have to buff and polish it now to even it out. Maybe even a little wet sanding first.
@@rhull3939 I have a polisher and I want to try that. I’m a little scared to do any sanding, but that would smooth it out. I’ll have to watch a TH-cam video and ease my fear.
@@Jasonsdesignshop start with 2000 grit then 3500 wet sanding and take your time. It'll look like you're scratching the hell out of it but after you use a compound and then a wax it'll look great.
Wow that works easy and looks so much better. Great Job!
I was impressed with this paint pen I picked up at the Ford dealership. You can really fix very small chips, what I call peppering on the front of your car.
At least $100.00 for each stool.
Ok sound about right.
This is so cool!😊
@@frankasadler6402 Thanks! This epoxy bear end table sold for $400 and helped me buy some supplies and tools. I have one that’s finished with a shark and seal in the center epoxy and one more sanded and ready to pour epoxy. Hopefully doing that one this summer.
Very nice! Do one with a butterfly!
@@frankasadler6402 I like how your thinking. This one is meant to go with a full porcelain tea pot set I made that has birds on them. For my future art show.
You are so talented Jason!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks!
I’m surprised you haven’t been commissioned to make art like this for libraries and lobbies of businesses.

@@kweezynonya955 Thanks. It’s a battle between cartoon and realistic.

@@occasional_content3536 cool thanks. I’m adding a little white back now.

@@Sniper-fv2of Thanks!
how much does something like that sell for?
@@itdo. Thanks. Hopefully will sell between $350-$500. Depends on the response once I posted the add.
Amazing!!!!
Thanks!
You are amazing. I'm sure the bear has always been in the log and you just had to set it free but what an amazing job. You have great vision.
Thanks for the positive comments!
Maybe send me a email to reach you at man. I’m very interested not your typical hey man yada yada then the interest is gone. lol I am 100% serious about learning this craft
I am into custom wood staining and I have plans to make a gourgous one of a kind Native American flute. I’d be happy to toss some ideas back and fourth with you man if your interested.
Hey man I’d love to build my own. How exactly do you get that clean split to half the branch like that? And none of theses videos really show how to build the mouth piece how to make the hole leading into sound chamber really. I’d love to learn if you’re willing to teach me man. I’m interested in making a Native American flute.
By none of these videos I just mean I can’t find anything that really shows me the process of the mouth piece
I have only ever made the one in the video. I got all my info on line and on TH-cam. Do a goggle search for Native American flute diagram and click images. You should see a side view of the flute cut in half and get the idea of the mouth pice. I have plans to make a better one later this summer/ fall.
Thank you! My Ryobi fence was bent out of the box and has been driving me crazy trying to cut short pieces.
What stain color did you use ?
Walnut I think. It’s quite brown.
What are the dimensions of the wood ?
I think they are 1x10x8 pine
1”x10”x 8’. I think…
Awesome video !! Just bought a used trailer with this setup, i need to adjust mine u just made this an easy process as I dont have the instructions
Awesome, glad it’s helpful.
By far the BEST DEMO VIDEO of this chainsaw!!!!! THANKS, JASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
How far do you tighten the sway control? The instructions said to bottom out the threads but that's pretty tight.
I have always struggled with that too. It’s not clear. I just make it pretty snug as there is a lot of leverage against it and you want to slow down any swaying movement that might start. That said if I’m going on roads below 65 and curvy I Don’t even use it. Also if your in the right balance with proper tong weight your risk of sway goes way down. Happy towing!
What wood did you use?
Pine
@@Jasonsdesignshopis it treated some how or we can use just regular one not pressure treated?
@@sergeyevfam3286 mine is not treated but treated wood will last longer outsides but I re-stain mine each spring to keep it looking fresh. You can also put a water seal each fall I do that on my gate I made with cedar wood. Looks new after three years. See that video.
Just discovered the same problem with my miter saw. Cuts were off by just enough to be noticable. Thank you for the video.
stupid. you showed us nothing.
Trip Hazzard... you could've use the tip end to cut while flexing the blade so that it would cut at ground level
True!. Well I then made a video cutting the nub with a diamond Wonder Blade.
How would you go on by replacing the battery if it goes bad?
Yes if the batter goes bad you will nee to replace it. Until then you can still pull start it.
Great video. A before and after side view of your truck and rv would have been hellpful. Lots of adjustments for that system. We have the Husky without the chain and the stabilizer. Much simlpler design and works great.
$5 fix!
They are out! Back ordered… waiting.
