Pastor Tim Keller keeps blessing us with these teachings 🤍🕊️🕊️🕊️
Wow,I loved this!
I love how practical and clear this was!
Rodriguez James Robinson Scott White Timothy

Before I was born, did God determine to give me a great life and then have me lose it all and experience depression, drug abuse and regret? Why?
The book of Job speaks to a very similar situation
@@garrynwood290 yes, I am familiar with that story, but my question of WHY cannot be known to us then? For instance, if GOD predetermined that I would lose my investments and have to leave Chicago, was it because I had to learn a lesson or because of something that I did or would have done if I stayed in Chicago. I had a great life in Chicago with money and properties and a lot of friends and women and, it was like a playground for me. Now all I do is mope around and depression and regret because I don’t have those things anymore. But that means that my joy and happiness was contingent on my circumstances which is also not good. I just go around in circles in my head. Wondering why
@@iamgodphotography Whatever exactly happened in your exact situation and why I cannot be for sure because I am not God. He does make it clear to us in the Bible that the ultimate source of Joy is to be found in Him and not in the created things. Also many times God uses the low points in life for us to turn to Him. As James 1:9-11 says, "[9] Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, [10] and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. [11] For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits." The Gospel provides hope to those who are in poor earthly situations because the Father now sees any Christian as he sees His Son Jesus; Holy and blameless. That is what the Bible says we are to have pride in. Not our earthly situation, but our spiritual one, which we did not and could not earn but it was because of Christ that we have it.
In the past, I became angry with God because he would not remove a repetitive sin and desire from me though I prayed many times that He would. What I now have come to believe through prayer and reading is the reason He never removed the desire from me is to make me grow and want Him more than that sin. He wants me to love Him more than any situation or circumstance in my life and lean on Him to overcome a sin that I could never overcome myself.
@@garrynwood290 I think you hit it spot on/ Even IF I would have NOT lost a lot I would have been disappointed that it is not fulfilling. People look for happiness OUTSIDE of themselves, but Jesus taught that the kingdom is within us. The Christ in YOU. I Am still looking, but learning that it definitely was NOT in wealth or of this world. Thanks for replying.
This message is the Awesomeness of God❤
thank you for uploading this. Jesus is wonderful.
This sermon is from Mark 10:13-16 and 45
This is excellent- we need to know THAT he died, and WHY he died (to free our hearts and pay our debt) and then be childlike enough to come needy and trusting of his love and our value in his eyes ❤
30:00 😅
So important to put this into practice as nothing else will bring one peace. Thank you so much for this message.
Well meaning but not accurate. -"nothing can separate us from the love of God” - (I agree, but Paul doesn’t, Paul asserts God’s love is conditional) -“everything that happens is working into God’s plan for our good and his glory” - this is delusional - 200 million people killed by other people in the 20th century alone. The Holocaust. Venezuelan babies dying for lack of unspoiled milk. 400 million Africans living in extreme poverty. Etc. Here’s well known specific case: Hypatia, a great thinker of the 4th century, was stripped, beaten and skinned alive with oyster shells, ripped to shreds, dragged through the streets until dead by a Christian mob. God’s plan? God’s glory?
Just to inform you ,they weren't christian mob but were Zealots a jewish/ political violent sect. Jesus never promoted violence or political agendas. Just like roman catholism was violent throughout the middle ages ,people can assume that is Christianity however roman catholism is so far removed from biblical Christianity. Jesus even apposed Peter for cutting off a roman soldiers ear. So if it is violent or murderess then that isn't true biblical Christianity . The Zealots were disappointed even in Jesus has he had no political agendas.
Remembering who said if ye LOVE me? Thank you for attending unto our OWN!,

wow this was well spoken. and very intersting
Long but worth it! Recently discovered Tim Keller and this is my favorite so far.
Yes,my husband bought sex favours from the maid. I feel emencely hurt and betrayed. I was also thinking how he must have hurt God! And now I really do not want to do anything that could hurt God like this! The pain is unbearable!

GOD doesn't judge someone's political affiliation PASTOR
May God help you realize the venom of your self righteousness sooner than later
One of the best sermons I have ever heard.❤
This changed my whole perspective. This time God spoke to my heart and not only my head.
Thanks for a insightful and relevant message The meaning of Life: It's Not Complicated Some people see, hear, Know Some are Called by His name.
Thank you for the beautiful message
This entire message is profound and yet at the end, pastor Tim has given the absolute best description of the Gospel I've ever heard. Oh but this man truly understood the Love of Christ and God. I'm so grateful to have him edify me in my walk.
Pray for you all who are watching to this video!
❤ Thank you father
❤ Thank you my jesus.
Father, you have given me water of life though i made you thirst in the cross..Forgive me.. 😭
🙏♥️🙏
❤ Thank you father for lead me to Tim keller these days.
❤ Thank you
Thankyou❤️
Whenever I listen to Pastor Keller’s sermons, I feel the Holy Spirit is peeling back every single layer I didn’t know was there. All so that I can become the true person the Lord created me to be.
Powerful!
We lost a great one when he passed. Loved this dear man. His sermons got me through hardest time of my life. Deep stuff. Love how he doesn’t preach. He just shared his heart and it poured into many people like soothing oil on a wound. Thank You Jesus for give us Keller all those years. How I wish I could have found Jesus in his church and attended there for years. I’d be a much more patient and gracious follower of Christ.
It's so obvious, yet I'd never put it into words. That much of modern peace seeking involves avoiding thinking whereas the Bibles in based predominantly in thinking on facts.
❤ Thank you father❤
Thank you for this teaching. So relevant always. More people need to hear this!
just the word that I needed to hear. thank you.
❤ Thank you father
❤ Thanks father
I heard this sermon some time ago on another TH-cam channel and I'm glad I came across it again today. God's ways are higher than ours. Thank God for the Rock that took the judgment we deserved so that we can be at peace with God!
Amen❤🙏🏽.Great once again.
Amen
This message blessed, challenged, comforted, and convicted my heart. Thank you.
❤ Thank you father
