Unfortunately, as far as I know, the only way to know your exact crit chance and crit damage is to calculate it yourself. I have assumed both are additive, so I just total the bonuses across all my boons and aspect bonuses.

I almost always read them on the Webtoon's app. I am always open to suggestions! I don't even mind the harem tropes necessarily, I just don't find they add much to my enjoyment, and I don't actively seek them.

@@ForKiwiYT If you havent read "Solo Leveling" start there for sure, although that one is pretty well known so I'd be surprised if you haven't at least heard of it. "Eleceed" is one of my favorites, sort of similar to "Breaker" where a non-murim person gets sucked into the power struggle of the martial arts underground but turns out to be super good at it (but it has funny cats so thats why its very good). Along those lines, "Infinite Leveling: Murim" is another good one where its Isekai-adjacent. Warrior dies and starts his life over, but now with the pop up menu and skills. "surviving as a fish" is definitely a unique and interesting one, though I felt less of the power trip and easy reading with this one. "Jungle Juice" is kinda similar to the "Eleceed" one but insead of murim, its human/bug mutant my hero academia. Lastly, "Lifeblood Lost" is a one a friend of mine made, its incomplete but does fit the Isekai- adjacent genre.

I tend to shy away from straight Murim without more fantasy elements. I like my swords and magic like in Solo Leveling. But Eleceed has been on my radar for a while so it seems like a good time to check it out! Thanks for the recommendations, I'll be sure to give them all a try! If you have interest in any recommendations from me, The Greatest Estate Developer (Isekai) for a fun comedy with a surprising amount of heart, and SSS-Class Hunter Who Lives To Die (Non-isekai, regression) for a good mix of action and story would be my top recommendations!

Thank you so much for your kind words! For now, I do not intend to directly talk about my job on the channel. I spent about 6 years as an undergraduate organic chemistry TA, so I think teaching was the biggest influence on how I discuss things.

Zeus's special has a weird internal cooldown, so Chiron does not drop a bolt for every arrow. Weapon's like Chiron, Hestia, and Rama definitely take some muscle memory to get used to, but they've become some of my favorites. The joy and dread of roguelikes is you never fully know what build you'll get - some are painful, some are hilariously broken. I hope you enjoy getting back into Hades! I think Piercing Volley may reduce the special's range, which is why I was misjudging where to shoot the special from, and why I struggled so much this run.

My original playthrough was on the Switch, this playthrough is on PC through steam. I remapped reload to the left button as soon as I unlocked the Rail and it makes it so much more playable!

In my Switch playthrough it was my worst weapon. That title is now comfortably owned by the sword, and only the sword.

@@freddyevangelista6503 Ah, gotcha! You get those symbols after maxing out nectars/ambrosia with a character - when you get the "bond forged" pop-up from max hearts in the codex.

Demeter will start showing up after you reach the surface for the first time. You don't need to beat Hades, just reach him.

I'm still getting used to playing the sword. I think Poseidon is my favorite aspect, but mostly because I do cast focused builds with it.

Thanks so much for watching! Chiron is the easiest to practice spacing with, just shoot an attack, dash away, and shoot 1-2 specials. But overall, I would say start with Hera or Zagreus to practice positioning and dash attacking. Dash attacks make power shots come out much faster, and even partially charged shots are stronger. Dash attacks should be the majority of your attacks, once you get used to it. Demeter's boons aren't the strongest, but slower enemies makes practicing positioning/dash attacks easier. Don't be afraid to let the shot loose earlier if it means avoiding a hit. The bow has a super long range, use that to your advantage and prioritize dashing away from enemies until you're more confident with dash attack timing. Then you can worry about the busted damage on double/triple shot + point-blank shot. Rebinding your cast to a trigger/shoulder button makes Hera less awkward when also spamming dash/attack. Rama is the strongest aspect, in my opinion, but it is much slower, so practice with the other options first and then try it. Sorry for the word vomit, but I hope that helps!

@ thanks for the word vomit! Lots of valuable tips. I’ve only done one (🥲) clear so far with the bow and only because I got the continuous shot with the hammer. Will definitely try your tips, seems I just have to get used to taking a bit more time per attack. I started on Hades after I finished Returnal and so was really used to high paced gameplay. If you haven’t played Returnal yet I recommend it. For now, I still love playing Hades and am looking forward to the second one

That's a really solid time especially with the sword ! Nemesis definitely feels like the strongest sword aspect, but I really need practice with it. I seem much more consistent with the ranged weapons.
