    I would say as a track car only it would be good fun . But honestly it's not great on the road . The vibrations are quite bad . Need to look into better engine mounts.

    Nice work 👍 I have a ep3 that I have had for about 4 years, I used to use it on track until last year when I put a turbo on it 😉. I have a st150 as well and have been thinking of breaking the civic up and putting the engine minus the turbo into the fiesta to use on track next year as I think it may be a bit more fun !

    Still has k24 head but with ep3 cams and ep3 oil pump . Pulls really well

    Some amount of work there..How much was that oil pump...just incase....

      think the pump was around 300 . will be fine though done plenty like this.

    Fair play mate that's alot of work . This is the first I've used the lanoguard and it seems really good and easy to apply . Definitely think a car needs properly undersealed and not just lanoguard over the top of everything if it's something your wanting to keep protected for a long time . Cheers . Next video will be an engine conversion on my mates fiesta . And rust repairs if it needs it haha

    Great work there Dude..and a LOT of work too..Lanoguard must be the easiest body protection product to apply..it has a weird ut not unpleasant smell to it. Remember it’s a yearly application. When I finished my Freelander the MOT bloke said(on the MOT cert) that the underside was ‘heavily coated in under seal. He didn’t e tino that it was like that from the factory although I did strip it back to bare metal where it needed it. Rust remover er, brake clean, seam sealer and 7 undercoats of UPol primer followed by 7 coats of UPol gloss black must have hypnotised him. Stoneguarded the arches and inner/outer sill areas and Lanoguarded everything reawardsof the front arches. They get done when the weather improves. Keep going Liam.

      No build thread unfortunately but have plenty pictures and old videos for most of the work I could make into a video one day. The rear brakes are 262mm mb6 . 242mm swap works great too

    Nowt like finding a not too bad underside on a car. Spent a very lonnng time cleaning the underside of a Freelander after welding up quite a few rooted areas. Fell rear end rebuild all the strut towers stripped to be bare metal, treat, repealed and then 7 coats under coat and 7 too coated also. A small bit of welding in the rear arches.. finished off with lanoguard which have found to be a breeze to use. Time will tell(it’s meant to be applied yearly) if it works well. So far so good. Inner box structures got Bild and Hammer’d which was easy when the car was on jack stands and mostly disassembled. Good effort nice to see someone with a bit of moral courage taking the time to make something better..

      Around 80mm clearance. I will be changing to a metal k24 sump soon which is supposed to be 1/4" shorter . We will see

      A think the clearance stayed the same from my k20 to k24 for the sump. Just had to cut the skin of the bonnet as it's taller

    Car is running around 250hp. I've not been on track alot but now the car is pretty solid and reliable hopefully i can get alot of track days next year . Thank you

    Any idea what power your car is pumping out? Good to see you back on a track never been to Knockhill to watch anything only drop my niece and her mate off way back..Don't live that far away so will have to change that.. Two videos in a week...keep it up...

    Yeah looking forward to seeing that from what I no u can only get them in if u space it right out but will be interesting I am going to go down the kad 7.9 road just because I want the same track but will be nice to see for future reference incase I can’t stop the swift engine:) from what I see there u are going to need modifications on tie bars or rack stops as the calliper is the problem for hitting and stops full look Nice to see another mini engine conversion Getting done up here in Scotland

    Nice little job and you are absolutely right about not powder coating the subframe. Vastly over rated process that looks good on museum pieces but completely useless for a road going car...

    good call with not powered coating, its highly over rated. if it ever gets chipped water will get underneath the coating and spread and slowly lift. and as you say, if its painted you can weld / cut and modify and then just re paint what you have just done. nice work with the conversion, i look forward to seeing its progress

    Hey the mini subframe has a gap for the subframe mounts, the mini you have had rubber mounts between the subframe and the floor. If you’re solidly mounting the subframe and adding weight and power you’ll need to reinforce the toe board on the car otherwise there will be crack and failures in the sheet metal.

    Nice work mate. I'm currently restoring a 1980 Mini but fitting a Micra 1.3 engine. I don't think the Micra lump will need the amount of modification as your Honda but its all good viewing all the same. I've only just found your videos so working my way through them. Thanks for posting .
