@@JEBJOSH Not in tandem as you could with a VST plugin. I think the case here would be to export the master file first, and then modify it afterward with the desired tool. I hope this helps. Thanks!

@@Voidpiercer yeah I’ve been trying to figure it out I just can’t seem to find anything. Fl doesn’t fully support real time exporting with external effects on. You’d have to record the mixer channel which is kind of a pain. Ableton has something called external audio effect which you can set up the routing and when you exports it does real time audio export with the external device

I hear you there - I use playlist / audio track mode (as well as instrument tracks) within my main sessions. Both approaches can lead to the same goal - You have a good point worth future discussion. Thanks!

I'm running Windows 10 in the video and haven't laid eyes on 7 for some time now. It's 15 years old and out of support by Microsoft. On the topic of converting to wav / leaving FL Studio, there shouldn't be a degradation at all with the right optimal export settings. I've brought tons of tracks into Audacity and back in FL without any degradation. What settings do you have selected in FL Studio export?

THANK YOU! I kept my FL project timebase low, and my hardware buffer size high. I did have a few hiccups throughout, but overall my PC never caught fire 😂

For patterns, you'll want to 'program' the BRSO instrument channel piano roll in lieu of Modo's. BRSO will effectively serve as an input intermediary which will send MIDI to Modo. Try setting BRSO's output to Port 3, and Modo MIDI input port to 3. It's likely you won't have any other instruments receiving MIDI on that port. On the subject of the mapping file you loaded into BRSO, are your rows labeled? For instance, row 96 would represent note C3, which for me, is "Kick".

Are you seeing the guitar input meter reading inside the armed insert, and subsequently the Master? Inside master, are your stereo outputs set?

Hi! If you're getting a noticeable lag following a strum, you can look at lowering your device or ASIO buffer size. I like to record my guitar tracks at 256 (link below for added context). If you’re referring to FPC, I just chose a random kit preset.

@@Voidpiercer That was incredibly easy! I now have the drums perfectly mapped into the mixing board! Do you have a video about recording MIDI drums into FL Studio? My ultimate goal is to "play" my drums and have FL Studio transcribe into music notation. OR...at least record the playing as MIDI values that can be loaded into another program that will transcribe.

@@marimba_tuner Glad you're set up! I do have a vid more focused on EZDrummer integration. As for transcribing into music notation, I have done this with FL Studio + Musescore - but yeah - definitely achievable! (Might be a good topic for a future video) :)

Thank you for your comment! From what I see/hear when performing cymbal choke, is that the action is not MIDI mapped and thus would not translate to DAW.
