In late September, we flew from Venice to Santorini. After enjoying the views, we took a ferry to Paros. The island was peaceful, with fewer tourists around.
We rented a scooter to explore. The roads were quiet, and the weather was pleasant. We dined at local tavernas, savoring fresh seafood like grilled sardines and the island's specialty, gouna-a sun-dried, herb-seasoned mackerel that's grilled. The local wine complemented our meals perfectly.
The trip was relaxing and enjoyable. Paros in late September offered delicious food, comfortable weather, and a tranquil atmosphere.
