Stunning, soulful playing ❤

Bach's Chacone from Partita II took me on another brief foray into my woefully, broken heart. The heaviness of my despair, had me yearning to return to those times when I was comforted and sustained. I felt my whole being, gripped in the torment of a diving bird, plunging into the dark depths of an abyss. I yearned for a tiny crack or slight opening, that could lead me up, to better soothe my suffering. My pain was clenching me as if I had been stabbed all over again. I could no more rise out of my despair. This work held me in the trenches; I was unable to escape my emptiness.

Miriam that was stunning. You get right to the heart of this music. Food for the soul. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful! Please can you tell me what strings are you using? Is it Eudoxa or Passione? Thanks in advance

very nice playing. my only comment - maybe too much rubato, too many times hanging on to the first note of a measure. it breaks up the flow. Hilary Hahn is a good model for how to play Bach in tempo, in spite of the technical difficulties.
