I have three main issues with the King design. 1.) It is shaped too much like the queen in that its limbs are a little bit too thin. I can understand it being much heavier and, therefore, needing to walk hunched over like a t.rex, but the limbs are relatively thinner and more spindly than a regular warrior alien when it ought to be slightly heavier built, more powerful like it was designed to fight. For example, Prodos made an altered version of this design for their tabletop game, and it looks a lot stronger. 2.) The ridged look and theme are overused in the design, and like the general look of the ADI aliens, it lacks the biomechanical look of the original alien. The design team out to have cut way down on the ridges and replaced them with more of the traditional biomechanical surface look. This is to maintain congruency with what family of monsters it is supposed to be part of, and cosmetically, the biomechanical look is much more alien. 3.) The color. Again, that Alien Ressurection ugly ADI look rears its head. I prefer that the highlights look more unnatural in chromatic color or simple grays and metallics like the original. The browns and yellows make it look too "natural," like something from Earth. Now, as for the positives. 1.) The two extra tails sticking out of the back. That was a very creative decision, and I like it. 2.) Ditching the secondary arms of the queen, which James Cameron put on his design as a facsimile of breasts. Basically, they, like the high heels, make the Queen look slightly more feminine. The design team, fortunately, knew why they were there and why they did not belong on a King/giant warrior variant. 3.) The double stingers on the tail. Again, it makes it look unique.

I despise how late I was to statues......specifically court of the dead. It's a stupid fascination on my part because I have NO good space to display them or even have them in the boxes.

I just purchased the Shard variant. Odium's head is annoying, it's some version of plastic. I actually think he looks sort of out of place but fits in weird way. Not bragging, your collection of CotD is better than mine. I STILL have not opened the Ellianastis that according to my last comment over a year ago shows how under prepared I was lol. Still can't believe Shieve showed up with nothing broken......that thing is fragile as hell. Edit: P.S. I miss you guys lol =)

The 1:4scale Deluxe Edition Jungle Hunter from Prime 1 Studio,s by Prime 1 Studio,s is well worth worth the money. +they even do a1:4scale body victims hanging upside down as abonus extra for about just over 1K

Yeah City looks kinda alazy effort from the manufacturers an average City Hunter bust all round

Bio Mask on Jungle Hunter needs to be weathered in order to make that bust look even more screen accurate

How com their never did a1:2scale City Hunter with his Bio Mask as a Predator 2 bust as well? 🤔🤷‍♂️

Rogue and the king are separate. The king is natural while rogue was genetically engineered, the king is a rare and fierce beast only found in the most evolved hive worlds while rogue was a genetically engineered xenomorph hybrid.

I prefer the king xenomorph the holes at the bottom it looks like the warriors are coming out the holes and are about to go to war that's there home the holes and eggs.but the Queen it looks like its token over a factory 😅 at the bottom of the queen there's the metal pole and the rest of the metal. There both good but I prefer the king.
