Welcome! We're an Aussie couple on an adventure around Australia, documenting our journey through videos every week. As a marine biologist and a skipper, we are passionate about the protection of the ocean and the planet. We hope to educate and inspire others through our videos, by sharing what we know about the ocean, and bringing you on this journey with us!
We hope you enjoy what we have to share. And don't forget to subscribe!

This is why i want to head up north, but the south of WA is also tempting!
Which Spot did you snorkel at 12mins? Looks amazing
Loved watching this again
great work on the vid guys, good to see u went with Kings Ningaloo Reef tours for your whale shark encounter those guys are the best :)
I love these influencer mockumentaries! I won't let on that the general store at XXXXX Point was a mere 15 minutes away. Great stuff! :D
clickbait title its not the longest jetty, its the longest timber jetty.
Just found your channel. You seem like a lovely couple. I hope you journey is going well. I'll sub and check out some more of your journey soon.
Starting the video with that virtue signaling nonsense, not watching any further
bees
Wicked sea life , such an amazing variety of fish life
And pay respects to the British colonists who landed here and made this our home to
Yang I bay, site #8 is the BEST!
Where did you guys go?
Looks unreal up there! Thanks for the vid
Amazing video
one thing i would change for future trip videos is uploading in 4k. you have some great landscape shots, but 1080 on a 4k screen doesnt do it justice
Thanks for the tip. The only thing is we can’t shoot 4K in 50fps so it makes it difficult if we want to slow stuff down.
Cool video, what’s the name of the white sandy beach you were swimming at ??
That one was Flahertys beach, pretty beautiful hey!
@@roamingtheblue awesome! Thank you, will check it out in a couple of weeks time whilst we’re at Pt Vincent for the weekend.
Thankyou for visiting my state, South Australia doesn’t get much love haha you guys are awesome!
South Australia is so beautiful! I was actually born in the Adelaide hills
@@roamingtheblue ohhh how nice!!!! I haven’t been there yet.
Such an inspiration ❤
rename the hill 'the four tops'
It was never ending!
Having travelled Australia extensively The Fleurieu is definitely in my top 10......great vid guys...
Very beautiful video
Only recently found your channel and have now watched them all with much joy. Your happy, friendly faces your interesting destinations were a wonderful way to end my day. With so many vloggers its easy to miss ones you will really enjoy and I do hope you will continue
Thankyou very much Robert! Those kind words mean a lot to us. We really hope to continue in the near future for sure
Well done guys. Belated , just come across your channel. Looking forward to seeing future videos if you’re up for it. All the best Rich
Thanks Richard! We really hope to be making more videos in the near future but we've been on some other life journeys recently that has gotten in the way of our video making!
Love this! Jervis Bay is definitely on the list of places we want to explore 🤍
Same as you we didn't see many Hyundai iMax or iLoad conversion so I am happy to have a tour of yours. Thank you. FYI: We put a 9 litre brass monkey freezer between the front seats to supplement the 40 litre waco fridge. Meat for a week, and ice too so I don't need to put water or wine in the fridge. We kept the back seats and removed the middle row. The tri-fold bed is behind the front seats and the backs of the back seats is our 'headboard'. When in campervan mode we use the space under the bed for storage. The bed is folded up against the front seats when in passenger mode and we can have five people in the van to get around town. The kitchen box is in the 'boot' and we have a reimo tailgate tent for privacy. There is 40 litres of water on the roof, 240 watts of solar and an awning on either side of the van. We kept the factory lining as is but installed limousine tint on the windows and have travelled in -0° - 30+°. Each night we hang our beach and bath towels around the mattress to trap our body heat in winter, and to block light pollution too. Thanks again for the tour...
Awesome video. Love the effect with the camera lense transition. So creative!! Haha and could feel the shock with that Ray 😂😂😂
Hey! Where did you guys park/camp? Need somewhere sick that doesn’t need 4wd
Wait until you guys get to Coffin Bay, they have Emus walking around the town 😊
When I was working there,we had about 10 emus casually walking past us
If you guys think that the flies are bad wait until you guys get to WA in the Summer time they’re herendous ?
Just so you guys know, there’s a resident 4.5M great white which frequents that jetty?
Great vids. Just an FYI. The cliffs of the Nullarbor are over 1000km long. Any turn to the coast will put you on that cliff.
Thanks for sharing guys! I spent a lot of time in this area as a kid. Now, I live abroad and I'm watching your videos on TH-cam with my kids!
Ah so great to hear, thanks for watching!
A dive is with an aqua lung (tanks) Snorkel is without. And try a bialetti. The original Italian coffee machine. Takes a special skill to break one of those.
What would a free dive be considered as then? Diving on a line with no tank? More of the sport itself maybe?
I’m going there today !
Very tidy install guys! How do you find the petrol engine on fuel? Most iLoads/iMaxs in the country seem to be turbo diesels, which made sense a decade ago but with it being ~20c a litre more expensive these days… :-/
It’s a little heavy on fuel, about 12L/100km but the engines last way longer than the turbo diesel!
I went here when I was 6 and its a core memory, I really want to go back and freedive there!
Ah i could imagine you’d have great memories from there, such an incredible place!
Hey I am looking to get an Imax 2010 version, we’re the windows any trouble to black out (the back ones) and was it easy to remove the brackets for where the seats were for the back?
Hey Tim. The windows were pretty easy to black out, little bit fiddly cutting it to the right shape but wasn't too bad. And we actually couldn't get the sliding brackets out for the centre row of seats, so we pushed them forward and built the platform on top of it. The back ones all came out easy.
Love it! Keep killing it you two :)
Thanks so much mate!!
Sorry for the ignorance, but where on YP are the beaches? 😊
A few different beaches our favourite was barkers rocks!
@@roamingtheblue yeah I looked at some other clips and worked out the other main one was flaherty... Keep up the good work guys. I have subbed!
Nice one mates thanks for sharing your experience
Thanks mate!
Good luck with future adventures👍
Cheers!!
Glad your video was suggested to me. Thank you for all the lessons. I ❤travelling and vlogging too! New subscriber and much love to the 2 of you 🇿🇼💛💚💜🇬🇧
Thanks heaps for subscribing! We’re glad you enjoyed it :)
Hey guys, what a pleasant surprise to have another video come up and was a really great capstone on your trip. All of the advice points were really good: sounds like you had a really successful trip and learned a lot. As for me, Being Present and Everyone has a Story really ring true. Life can pass by so quickly that unless you’re present it’s easy to miss what really counts. And you guys are great examples of Everyone having a story: thank you for sharing yours. Looking forward to the next installment.
Thanks Scott. Sometimes you need to slow down and take it all in otherwise it can pass by so quickly hey. And it’s always nice to learn other peoples stories, we might need to have more of a chat one day!
travel to me is always freedom
Definitely!
Thank you both for sharing your adventure with us all Your an amazing couple Best of luck for the future
Thanks heaps Steven!
You've learned many of life's lessons so early in your lives. You're ahead of the game. Great to see.
Haha thanks Iain!
Wise words, thank you !
Cheers Andy!
Great wrap up, we experienced the exact same things especially the Instagram moments compared to reality, Its a shame people feel the need to edit their photos so much that it doesn't resemble true life experience. Any photos or videos I took were never edited to enhance them so I have true memories of our travels. Therefore we have a lot of grey day photos , but hey that was our reality.
Cheers guys, yeah it’s good to show the good, the bad and the ugly hey!
