hi
Nice video...thanks.
Congratulations!!! 🎉
Thank you so much 😀. I'm thankful for the support and know the website will function better without all of the clutter!
A couple suggestions. Put a credit card or something for protection underneath for finish protection. While tightening, the tuner will tend to turn in the direction you are turning. If you hold the little nut, you can square up the tuner and get some leverage for a bit more snug. It is really easy to do. Always be gentle and patient. 😊
Very good lesson!

perfect, thank you. I was gifted a cheap 5-string viola and it only has one fine tuner and the thing is just misery trying to tune it LOL. I almost bought violin fine tuners assuming they were the same but decided to search for a tutorial on installing them because I couldn't wrap my head around what I was seeing, and none of them look like the single one mine has. Thanks!
Were playing string explosion in n my orgrastra class we have a concernt coming up next month and we are playing string Exposition
We doing string explosion rn
My orchestra teacher is doing this and it’s amazing new sub!
hi ethan
Wonderful! Thank you!
I find I can't get it tight enough with a paper clip, as it bends so easily. Now, we don't want it to be too tight but I discovered that the metal wires from a binder clip are much stiffer and can really snug it down. You just have to pinch them together to get them out of their captured position in the black metal clamp of the binder clip. Then put it back in, or stick it in your bag for emergencies. (I always heard them called "bulldog clips"). The chinrest wrench is nice to have too on your keyring, not very expensive, but don't go too far, the metal on mine was very brittle mine and broke...
That’s fantastic! I have used those too. And they do make chin rest wrenches 🔧 as well! www.amazon.com/dp/B08M9SCZB8/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_SZWB6HETRD8MBZFVX7MZ?linkCode=ml2&tag=orchestrateac-20
@@TheOrchestraTeacher Hey, you're fast! Yep, that's the same kind I had and I was surprised at how easily it snapped. Never had a binder clip snap, though... it bends before snapping. :) So I haven't bought another one yet!
Thank you- very helpful
I wish there was a mixer so I could turn up the Violin part and here that a bit louder.

i was lucky enough to be taught by mrs. dirks in lawrence for six years, both in junior high and high school. i was never very good, but she made everybody feel like they could be a professional, and she knew how to pull talent out of her kids. the talk about her student’s mental health really struck me because i was one of those kids in that was really struggling, and it led me to quit orchestra in the middle of my senior year. one of my biggest regrets.
2:44
Thank you!
This is amazing
Video was in frontier elementary school
im trying to find my orchetra techer hi techer
Thank you I really like this song
Thank you I used to play first violin and switching got me so confused at times where I’d play first instead of second when I got lost
This is for you, 2nd violins! :-). Happy practicing!
I just received this email from the same address today November 28th 2023. Part of my research checking the source name email address led me to this video so thank you. I'm a professional musician but do not play cello. This saved me calling a friend who is a professional cellist and might be interested. Thanks again for the good work exposing the scammers.
Scary thing!!! They convinced the music department on my Uni in the UK to post the advertisement….such a scam. Same emails, same pictures, different moving company. Good thing I decided to do my own research like you did. Thanks for the effort to post about this. Keeping an eye on this.
😮 wow! Glad this was helpful!
Thank you for this. They are at it again under a different name (Lisa Raymond), but with the same pictures, almost the same text. Thankfully the moving company (Splash movers in MD) seems to be bogus this time rather than using an existing company's website and ruining their business in the process.
🤩
3:53 is a priceless masterpiece
I’m learning how to play this in school🤣
It’s a fun piece!!
Hahaha, I have been teaching string orchestra for 13 years and I just started Middle School band this year. Lots of kids but it is fun in a small town in Nevada.
Wow! Would love to hear about your experiences and the transition!
@@TheOrchestraTeacher great to hear your interest. I have been working my way to teach them but it has been a chaotic 2 classes so far. One has 40 students and I just can't keep the respect or listening up yet. I will be trying a mic and speaker next to talk over them. Maybe have PBIS points to earn for some students. Always thinking on this beginning Band class.
how do i get wood in minecraft
In Minecraft, you can obtain wood by following these steps: 1. Find a tree: Trees are commonly found throughout the game world. They have a distinctive blocky appearance with various types of leaves. 2. Equip an axe: To efficiently gather wood, you should use an axe. Wooden axes work, but as you progress, you can make stronger axes from different materials like stone, iron, or diamond. 3. Chop the tree: Approach the tree and left-click (or tap, depending on your platform) with your axe to break the wooden blocks that make up the tree's trunk. Continue chopping until all the wood blocks have been collected. You may need to break the leaves as well to get all the wood. 4. Collect the wood: As you chop the wood, it will drop as wooden blocks in your inventory. 5. Craft planks: To make the wood more versatile, open your crafting table and convert the wooden blocks into wooden planks. Place the wooden blocks in any slot in the crafting table, and it will yield four wooden planks per block. Now, you have a renewable source of wood that you can use for crafting a variety of items in Minecraft. Different types of trees yield different wood types with unique colors and textures.
💀
AWESOME!!!!!
agreed
Another year another tuning
my group is in tune now
I just got this email today. I did respond to her and she send me exact same photos. I thought the cello on photos didn't even look like a Vuillaume. I also thought to write to her asking how she got my email. Meanwhile, this was sort of suspicious to me already and I went searching for "someone contacted me via email about cello" and it lead me to your video! Thanks for researching this further and making a video! This may help a lot of people avoid getting scammed. I also wonder how are they getting our emails (maybe from Facebook?) and if they target cellists or just random people. Because who else would be interested in buying a cello? This is a really weird scam. I may toy with it as well just to see what responses I get.
Very interesting to hear about the life of an Alaskan music teacher/performer. Thank you for bringing this to us and thank you Mrs. Katie Eakes.
My orchestra teacher always plays this and it makes all of us excited
Very nice ❤
