    As a Dutch citizen I left the Netherlands permanently, 13 years ago. The country is no longer for the Dutch themselves, but for asylum seekers. 30% of the inhabitants are not Dutch, who do not speak Dutch. The last 2 years and the expectation of this year are/will be 600,000-700,000 Dutch people leaving the country permanently, they do not want to live there anymore.

    Fireworks can lead to addictive effects you wil allways search for the kick the whooo effect. It is addictive because tolerance will ocur. After a vew 4 inch shells you wil get use to it. And next year you wil try to score some 6 inch shells or even 8 inch shells. And some 6 inch titanium salutes for the loudest explosion. But somewhere down the line things will eventually go horrible wrong. Fireworks is for the professionals only. Especially trained and with a licence or certificate. Those People know what they are doing and can controling there behavior.

    "it takes a long time to build a house" is total BS. when America had their national housing program after WW2, entire neighbourhoods were built in a matter of days. a house can be built in a single day if developers and politicians work together instead of against and if you remove the commodification of housing then things would move infinitely faster.

    Rubbish. Netherlands are a fake. The governments have systematically sold out the people. I am Dutch. I left after 35 years. It's not worth it. Prices are too high, so are taxes. Normal working class people have no savings and are relatively poor. The can not afford the costs of living with a normal job. Regulations are way out of control making it impossible to do anything without a HUGE influx of cash. Quality is high on first sight but not for all. There are two ways to be in Netherlands. Poor or extremely rich. If you are caught in between , like middle class are you are the sucker paying for all European WEF nonsensical BULLSHEIT . Nope you will not get a lot extra for that. I buy all my needs where i live now and i get more for less. It's a hoax. Socialist cackling while poverty is on the rise. Not a free country. Not a great outlook economically. In Netherlands you can see the wealth but it is not yours. You only pay for it. If you wish to build your wealth i suggest you go somewhere else than this neo communist moneygrabbing set up.

    Ah urbanists hate talking about it because everything they push is the Dutch urban model as a solution to the housing crisis 😂

    • @justadude117X
      @justadude117X 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      the dutch urban model IS superior in a multitude of ways compared to North America. The remaining issue is all the red tape from the government and the commodification of housing means that only luxury homes can be built because its a better investment for the developers and the stock brokers who both make millions in profit off of the current broken, corrupt housing system.

    • @cmdrls212
      @cmdrls212 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @justadude117X so superior it can't solve their housing crisis. move along son. If you want to solve the housing crisis, look at countries without a crisis. The most well known example is Japan where homes are treated like the depreciating asset they are instead of a wealth building tool to pad the portfolios of the massively wealthy. As long as the western model makes buying a home and holding it a hugely profitable venture, no amount urbanism will yield any home affordably. The two are totally unrelated. In fact in highly walkable suburbs like the heart of silicon valley, all we see is urbanism gentrifying neighborhoods pushing homes to even more outrageous levels. Sounds familiar? yeah, it's the Dutch outcome and nobody is surprised.
