Lady, it was focusing on positivity, building self confidence, and believing in my dreams that put me into this heavy cycle of literal homelessness, starvation, and endless solitary confinement. My life was completely fine when I was a selfish and fearful person. When i decided to follow my dream, i lost LITERALLY EVERYTHING. No one has ever had more self-love or self-esteem than I do. But it doesn't matter. You cannot accomplish anything worthwhile without the faith and cooperation of others, and able-bodied people all _refuse to believe_ that someone as severely disabled as me has any capacity or even any worth. Exactly. I am an Elder who has been Care Giver to multiple family members. It was an honor. I did it out of love, and now I am trying to leave a legacy of positivity behind for my children, grandchildren, niece, and nephews. It's hard. Trying to include some of our ancestry history to them as well, in hopes it will encourage them to always be proud of themselves, and where they came from. I pray I can continue on this journey. Two years ago I was on a friends roof terrace in LA and if I say that I was immersed in a swarm of butterflies….it was just after my mother died and I thought that she was trying to say something ….for over an hour I was with perhaps 100k butterflies of all colors ( normally white only in America) I’m not exaggerating …one of my most significant experiences EVER….it was breathtaking and they mentioned it on the local news…❤
