What I love about the Akhal teke is it’s phono type is unlikely absolutely any other breed in the entire world! They have the most odd and unique and oldest horse phonotyoe of any horse! It makes me feel like they are one of the truest purest breeds with the horse that’s been preserved

It’s funny how people love the Akhal teke now! For years Europe didn’t like the breed and the United States didn’t know anything about them. They kept leaving them out on topics including books about the Thoroughbred. Yet the people who owned these amazing horses knew all along, and now due to its near extinction, to the breeds luck they have taking a major spike everyone the world. Now are an admired and beautiful breed that many seek to have the chance to acquire one. Yet in the show ring they have laid some understanding about the horses natural slender, long, and up right phenotype as not a flaw but the rare traits of the Akhal teke! Yet we have an American version of the Akhal teke right in America thay we don’t give the same appreciation too who all’s share a similar body structure is the American Saddlebred. As soon as you bring them outside of the saddle seat world, people get disgraced. The horse is too skinny, too lengthy, the crops too long and flat, legs are too long and skinny known as leggy, heads to high set, too sensitive to pressure to allow them to adjust to other disciplines as as eventing; weaker hind muscling, frame too set high and they try to force the horses into a warmblood frame but a Frisian has a high frame and stature and its loved and exceptional: All the things we criticize in the saddlebred is Literally in the Akhal Teke! If the Akhal teke can do it so can the Saddlebred! The Marwari is also oddly similar to the Saddlebred. I just think these slender hot breeds are generally misunderstood and they are designed to be lean and long and slender to go miles in often bare environments for a long period of time, hence their slender frame to be light and energy with large rib cages for lots of ogyen and heart. Long fetlocks are found with horses with a “grey hound phono type” you see this in other animal species such as the grey hound in dogs or the cheetah in cats. No one criticizes the cheetahs built because we know they are a machine “made for speed and endurance”. Is there any similarities with this for people to understand for the turkoman , saddlebred, and Marwari? Maybe we can learn to realize that “quarter horses aren’t the ideal”. So sad to think the reason we have the qh is because of the barb at a distance and this very breed is becoming extinct and the world spent thousands of years trying permanently remove the “barbs naturally features”, just like we tried for years to avoid that the turkoman was clearly listed in the development of horse breeds like the thoroughbred, no one would talk about due to the idea that the horse was considered to Europeans at the time as “weak with an Ewy neck, I hear the a lot about saddlebreds in America”. There’s 100 breeds around the world , how can you only have one breed and say they are better then 99 of the other breeds for different things. It’s kind of crazy to think, we have a 100 breeds to choose from and half of the world only chooses one breed. Maybe we can learn to love the lean and slender of the hot and spirited . Maybe they are just as perfect as they are. There’s so many amazing breeds.

wonderful paces indeed, so light with suspension for a 4 years old... probably aimed at an experienced / advanced rider right ? And thank you for proving information below videos... with other sellers it's a real pain to get the information... wish i had more riding experience at present and he's a little over my budget but a dream horse to grow with
