Yes the resort is quite big but it should not put you off staying there. There is a hotel run shuttle bus system that takes you from the lobby to the pools and closer to the beach but I've never used it. The gardens are very mature and beautiful so walking down the paths and main promenade is a very pleasant experience.

@@natachalada Yes that's correct. In general prices in dollars in mexico are set for turist therefore slightly overpriced. Locals do their shopping in pesos.

Yes I've seen some pictures from before the hurricane and the resort looked really nice. Last month were on holiday at Grand Rivera Princesses Mexico during the hurricane Beryl. It was category 2 when hit the hotel and the night was rough enough. I can't even imagine how it was for you when hurricane Emily hit the Mexican coast as category 4. I've added a video to my channel showing damage at the Grand Riviera Princesses if you want to have a look.

Hi, if you referring to the front door behind the porch there are actually two zips down the bottom, one for each layer (mesh and window). Hope this helps👍

Little correction, there is one zip on the bottom. The second layer has top and side zip with overhang flap down the bottom.

Hi, thanks very much. For the tips I would suggest to get matching footprint and carpet ( go outdoors had a deal £70 for both), buy extra set of heavy duty pegs just incase stormy weather, when putting tent away make sure you leave open gaps in bedrooms and entry points ( it helps the air to escape), when rolling the tent take your time and use your body weight to get rid of air otherwise it may not fit the bag. I found it easier to fold sides to meet in the middle and then fold again ( you end up wit tidier sides without blue fabric. Hope this helps, happy camping 👍

Hi, our stormy night happened on Friday 21st and then rained the following Saturday. We had similar problem with lines getting loose because of the strong wind pulled pegs of the soggy ground. Other than that no issues. Tent felt safe and sturdy. Only downside is the size of carry bag, it's massive!

Hi, we only tried level green most suitable for kids (11yo) and it took almost 1.5h for us to complete. Yes you right it is very challenging in some places and I've seen few people struggling especially with higher levels.

Hi, when hyperlapse is shot the camera takes a photo every few seconds and audio is not being recorded. There is no talk over because this is no a review. The beach is massive and I wanted to show it from every perspective and that was the best way to do that (in my opinion) otherwise the video would be 3h long. Hi, I wouldn't think so. Our first visit in this resort was when my son was 7 years old and walking was not a problem, I can't speak for 2 year old I'm afraid. The whole resort is massive but each section has everything you need in close walking distance. Hope this helps.

We stayed there 12-26 July this year, the beach was clean but that can change over night especially during summer months. Staff cleans the beach every morning. During our stay in 2018 the beach was much more affected by sargassum (sea algae)

@@LuisDeBastos The beach is massive 2km long, it has rocky bits and soft white sand bits. Best thing is if you don't like your spot you can move to other section next day. Hope this helps.
