@redsky397 why does everyone sleep on the 1.1 jinhsi quest? I think that was the best quest so far.

@@Dripeh300 i didnt really like it because it was dragged out so long, jinhsi kept repeating she would die for her people for almost about 1 hour straight. If that was cut to be about 1/3 of the time the quest would have been great in my oppinion.

@ for me 1.3 onwards main story started to get better…i skipped most of the Jinzhou story cause it sucks balls…im good with a few companion quests but i really am curious how the first draft in beta was like…

@@Dripeh300 Dreamless did almost kick Jiyan and Rovers ass. If it wasn't for Abby, they woulda died and Whisperins are said to be weaker TDs.

@@ParafrostV it still didn’t feel like rover was losing at any point in the story. All im saying is I think it would add some depth to the storyline if rover had more ups and downs, mentally and physically

@darkdragon_xd2537 I personally just love the fast paced gameplay. I do love honkai star rail’s gameplay though. Every game on this list is a game I enjoyed at one point or still enjoy

Lmao, Hsr's story is great. It's just that penacony had horrible pacing and a lot of unnecessary wording. The actual plot was great tho. (Took me like 7 - 8 hrs for each part)

Reverse 1999 has amazing EN voice acting. In fact, it is preferred over the other languages. I recommend it either on the top or somewhere high

In my opinion, Nikke wins by a slide when it comes to story and character design. 1) Story: one of few things to consider when presenting the story is also the ease to understand without trying to make things complicated. I can't say about PGR but i dont think that Wuwa or HSR can beat Nikke. Nikke also manage to make people attach or hate to certain character by showing their motivation. An NPC like Oswald quickly become one of people favorites because of the role that he played in both Red Hood's and Cinderella's story. 2) Character design: When it comes to character design, it is debatable bcoz everyone has different taste but if i have to choose, i will pick Nikke, FGO, and ZZZ as top contender simply bcoz of their uniqueness. I wont explain about ZZZ coz there are Koleda, Billy, Ben and Anton who is super unique and full of personality. As for FGO, its characters design are what got me hooked and stayed for the past 9 years tho i ultimately dropped it this year so i wont waste your time on that. But one of few characters that worth noting are Heracle, Super Orion, Nero Claudius, Demon King Oda Nobunaga, and Iskandar. Nikke in particular have several characters that are super iconic like Red Hood, Cinderella, Rosanna, Maiden, Naga and Rupee. there are some who look kinda similar but still unique to the game like Bay and Noise. with that said, i wouldn't pretend like there are no characters that kinda look generic like Dolla who looks similar to Kafka(HSR) who looks similar to Macchiato(GFL1&2). but again, this is subjective matter so its up to someone's preference. those who hate fan service might not like what nikke have to offer. just as how i dont like Wuwa overall design, some might not like Nikke's or FGO's design.

It doesn't solve the spending problem, because over the year you would still ultimately pay at least double of what you're used to, but at the very least it reduces FOMO and allows more flexible planning on WHEN to spend.

My money is split between wuwa and pgr rn. I don't whale though.

@@Zero60133 yeah it’s really a lose lose situation for them and us because it’s either they lose a lot of money making it fair for the global community and face hostility from the Chinese community or we just don’t get the speed up plan at all. However, I feel like there’s a way the bp situation could be fixed at least. It could get the same treatment as the monthly.

@@Dripeh300 But i am confused, global and CN are separate servers, afterall? Are they worried more from backlash from global whales or entire CN server? If these are separate, what exactly upsets CN players about this so much? Do they believe global shouldn't catch up to CN?

If the biggest reason for outrage is"i went through it the slow way, they must too", like certain parents being angry for their children leading easier lives. I don't like idea of CN and global being so far apart simply because of what amounts to pettiness, and global being at their mercy so completely. Now if it was simply because of outrage of global whales. But if servers are apart, and both exist in separate system, so, it shouldn't matter so much.

I can definitely see what you're saying, it seems to be a lose-lose situation. However, I do still think that having to buy the battle pass 3 times is crazy no matter how I look at it. I feel like a similar system to the monthly would make that situation a little better.

@@kennnnn yes I agree, but the battle pass part and the packs being the same means you’ll have to spend double to keep up with you normal top ups if you’re a whale.

@@Dripeh300 Well somebody was gonna get the short end of the stick with this plan: -Everybody wants to be in sync with CN -Whales want 3x value packs for 3x patches -CN does NOT want global to have 3x value packs (its prefferential treatment) There is no situation where everybody is content. Also, CN whales are the actual majority of PGR income, not global whales.
