I love this idea of having different branches in the story, we've playing thousands of DBZ games and this is a good way to keep it fresh. i have concerns about how many real differences there can be since they'll likely get back to canon in some way. i am blown away by that number on the roster, im usually not a fan of having transformations as its own character but it is hype to just play as super saiyan 3 for an entire match. also each transformation having their own moveset is amazing.

I agree. With the Daima DLC already announced we knew Goku would have been included, having him as the Pre-Order character definitely seems like a missed opportunity. It was a chance to add a form or especially a character that's not included in the roster, adding to the hype of the reveal with someone unexpected but desired.

I agree it could have been better. Seems like they heard some fans saying there were too many Gokus in FightersZ and said “hold my beer”. I also feel like they could have held back a little on the starting roster and stretched out the hype by either letting fans discover them as unlock-able characters or putting out free DLC.

They could always add more because not only Super 17(GT) and no General Rildo(GT) I think they could eventually add them later. Super Hero and Diama are somehow supposed to add another 20+ characters. So maybe they might be added in a wave because from Super Hero atleast is Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, and Cell Max besides the 2 that are advertised. Also we have 0 idea on what Super Shenron and Shenron are there for with the advertisement. Again they could even do another dlc pass in the future because I agree that there is still quite a bit missing.
