This has completely replaced D100 Dungeon for me. I will likely never play D100 ever again. (Although, I still enjoy D100 Space.)
No one wanted to comment? I will. Good Job
Alex is indeed Spanish :-) and yes I do agree with you, he’s very prolific and a great writer
Sound is very low. I had a hard time hearing it.
I have read the book a couple of times but still haven't found the courage to start it... maybe next week!🤔
Best dungeon crawler out there. Following you and your gameplays, definitely up your alley!
@@TheLonelyWalker86 will get into it after my new 4ad part dies! 🤣
The degrees of customization available with self-made player aids is what makes a game a little unique from one gamer's gaming experience to anothers. Great idea with the mini cards!
You got yourself limited table space, at least what you show, so it might be a good idea for you too!
@@TheLonelyWalker86 definitely. It'll take a some iterations over time.
Thanks so much for the video, I'm really happy to know that you like KN so much!
It’s my favourite dungeon crawler and I said in the video, can’t wait for more content to come.
i think the tile cards are a good idea but i would use them for a quick reference to draw from instead. the rooms and corridors don't always line up and so drawing allows you to modify them slightly. I use a dot grid notebook and it works well.
That's what I do as well!
Yes… and no. I hate drawing the tiles and the KN ones are a bit hard. That’s why I rather use the tiles, even with some wonkiness. I use the small cards as a reference too for masteries, descriptions etc, and I still use poker cards for enemies. Thanks for coming along and the comment!
2d6 is an excellent option for those who might find d100 a bit daunting. it is simple, without being simplistic, and perfect for people looking to get into solo dungeon crawlers.
@@JarethDuLac I agree. Simple to play and learns, but such an awesome game and lots of fun!
Thanks for making this video my friend. I'm really please you are enjoying playing 2D6 Dungeon.
@@TobyLancaster_DR_Games it’s a pleasure. Really love your work. Next purchase will be the dices. Can’t wait for the next expansion ❤️🎲
Great video my friend
@@davidday2014 thanks a lot. I really enjoy 2d6 Dungeon, definitely deserved some love from the channel 🎲❤️
Fun to hear your thoughts. I originally got into D100 Space with the first book, then I got into D100 Dungeon, before the Galaxy Builder came out. I'm a little overwhelmed w/ the upkeep required for the Galaxy Builder. In the world builder I just keep track of Days. In the Galaxy Builder I'm expected to keep track of hours. It just feels like a little bit much to me. Also I prefer being able to explore in any direction in the world builder. The Galaxy Builder requiring you to buy jump paths and install them is again, just a little too much overhead for me. It's also just more fun to draw little mountains, and trees, and swamps, rather then drawing the tiny squiggles required for asteroids, ect, in the Galaxy Builder. Also the changing markets just seemed like a pain to constantly update. While I prefer sci-fi over fantasy, I think I'm going to be sticking w/ Dungeon going forward. More races, taming, martial arts, campaign books, and less overhead in the world builder. I have printed 2D6 Dungeon out, but I haven't played it yet. I know a lot of D100 fans really love that game as well. The combat sounds pretty interesting.
I agree that the Galaxy Builder is way too complicated. Don't see it like a bad thing, find it very interesting, but certainly requires a lot of brain use, time and patience and of course it is easier to get into D100 Dungeon. That's why I normally end up playing Dungeon instead of Space. No doubt, tho, that both are fantastic games. As I said, it has become one of my favourite games. 2d6 is awesome. I am exploring how to play the Realm, and I will make a video about it, but you will definitely love it if you like these kind of games. The combat system is probably the best one of them all. But yea, definitely give it a try. Thanks for coming along and for the kind words. Thanks.
where did you find the room dice?
@@Ninjamouseman007 Amazon. Dr. Frikinstein dice. Thanks for coming along!
Can you share where to obtain some of the things you are using like the dungeon and the character sheets?
For the Paper King, speak LOUDER please.
I'm not upset, but, dang it, I own almost every RPG worth mention for fantasy gaming. And that includes current hits like Shadowdark. And they just can't replace players at the table. No players, and they always have something ruining the process. Then comes 4AD to the rescue. It was made for my problem. I have no players. And no, I don't want to play on the internet, in any fashion. It's called table top gaming for a reason. TABLE TOP. So this is I think my 5th try at scouring my collection trying to find the best choice to go solo. There just isn't one. I have 4AD and most of the books. I think Treacheries of the Troublesome Towns might be the biggest most cool offering so far. If no 4AD, you might consider D100 Dungeon, a major awesome product based on you playing just one character. 4AD though, has a way to exploit all your old school AD&D modules. Hard to beat that one. But, I am kinda upset that I can't enjoy what is an amazing collection of great role gaming designs, because talking to myself and or pretending my teddy bears are actually players... is just too sad........ if you are like me, give 4AD your close attention.
Thanks so much for the video, I'm really glad you enjoy the game!
I do, a lot. It is a lot of fun!

Looking at this kind of video, about solo rpg and so, my first react is.. so cool! But my second thought is.. how you guy can manage the camera view in that way? Are you using GoPro or what?
I use a camera fixed on the top of the table with an extensible arm. You can use your phone for the same purpose. It’s very simple, really. Solo RPG is awesome. So much fun with so little needed.
Hello, look for a product called Bondic, it’s what dentists use for fillings! I used it on my Aliens tails and it gives such a good firm bond. Plastic glue to hold first, then apply the Bondic and use its light source implement to set it. I can send you pics of my Aliens if you provide your email address
Like your collection a lot . Played a bit 4 against darkness and liked it. Good game with so much to apply to it from different games ... Have to admit that I want to get back to it . Played some tabletop and tcg like magic, flesh and blood etc but pen and paper is lovely if u just want to play solo etc . Keep the good work up
I love this game

Great content !!! Keep it up !
That Bloodstalker killing itself was fantastic, haha. And that rest at the start really saved your life! And those epic boots are going to be a game changer! Great video!
That was fabulous, ngl ❤
Super cool setup! I need a map drawing mat like that! Or at least some premade tiles, haha. Traps are hella deadly in KN. Hope you're able to get that poison treated. Happy my playthrough could help you get excited to play some more KN!
It is the Chessex one, and it is not that expensive. Around £20? It is very good indeed. Totally recommended.
@@TheLonelyWalker86 Thank you! Chessex makes a lot of great stuff.
@@SeekersHollow the mat is fantastic 😍
You need to set camp and remove the poison ASAP, haha. Thanks for the video, I love seeing both zines being used!
To be fair the second Zine is massive, because it adds what the main book was lacking ❤ That poison hit me badly!
Pg 17 of the rules of combat say even if the monster is killed it still makes an attack. And at the start I think you missed two experiences points, if you roll less than 10 for a test even in combat you get to add 1 xp to the skill used or 2 xp if it's stared. GL I've started my fourth character and keep making mistakes myself. Might get the steam compainoin to help keep track of everything 😂
I know. I realise after. It is difficult to keep track of every movement. I forget if I have done certain action or did not. That is why I forget to attack back. The rules are in my head, but play and talk at the same time.... Too much for my brain! lol Thanks for coming along and glad you enjoy it!
