Fashion is weird to me. I have boots, Converse, lisa Frank Crocs, and jelly shoes like from childhood. I buy what makes me feel happy, not what is "in." I am also a 30-year old with many stuffed animals, so maybe I'm stunted, but I still love hello kitty and everything cotton candy. Not everyone grows up i guess.

I bought a pair of good shoes, they have lasted me 3 years now and look barely worn. I cannot comprehend why would people wearing something that still looks fine and serves its function perfectly fine.

I am a different age than you and even though I have checked out some of your shorts, I deliberately not been on TikTok til now and I very rarely get lost in shorts here on YT too. I hate the fact that people have to do just one specific style of videos to gain traction and cannot do whatever they want or their channel will not grow and people won't sub. I have been on YT (I have another channel where I post videos on) for 12 years and even though I post in another language and cannot get as many followers this way, I barely make it past 3K bcs I am not consistent and I refuse to only post ONE TYPE of video. I have done vlogs (Vlogmas in particular is my most successful part of the year) but vlogs outside of December don't do well, I have done makeup videos, clothes, trip vlogs, talking vlogs/advice/podcasts, renovation videos when I bought my apartment, etc. And of course not everyone is interested in everything but I have always stuck around on people's channels no matter what they posted if I liked the person themselves and not the topic they posted about, so I don't see why someone could not post what they want. Then again I understand you wanting to pair down the videos to a specific genre/niche. And I really feel like your eye for interior design and antiques is really unique for your age, I am really looking forward to this. One day, if I ever win the green card, I will either move to Chicago or Philly, so I am really interested seeing the city too. Maybe if you have any ideas, I would love to see a video on how you approach hosting, I have no idea, bcs I am not a naturally hostess type of person. I watch lives on many sites, Twitch, Kick and TH-cam as well. I think non-gamers have a hard time migrating to a new website, so I guess your best bet would be YT. Good for you doing things for yourself! Let me tell you, after 30 you will feel even better about doing YOU! I would never go back to my twenties, all the pressure I put on myself for nothing....huh...
