On Sunday, I got to visit my best friend in the whoooole world! Beau 🥰
I was fortunate enough to pet sit Beau 🐶 and his brother Oscar 😻 for a whole year! But as all good things must come to an end, 2 weeks ago I had to say goodbye to them 😔 (They are alive! But with their family now.)
As much as I love my job, the saying goodbye part has (of course) always been hard. BUT because my life motto is:
‘To love everyone & everything as much as I can, whilst I am lucky enough to be in their life’ ❤️
I can lovingly hand my best furry friends back to their families, knowing I gave them every little bit of my heart and soul! And that the memories we created together, will last forever.✨
I live the same process with my second love of life - Children. My music students first question before every lesson is - ‘Karli, what animals have you got today?!’ 🙈 😂
Will it be a saved - squirrel, chicken, rat, bird, rooster, butterfly, gecko or frog in the box today??? Or is it another 16 year old puppy dog who wears nappies?! 😅
Incorporating my ‘array’ of many animals into my students lessons is so beneficial for ALL involved! We even do sound healing together on the injured animals and many (including Beau) always remembered my students voices and always came over to say hello 🤩
So my music lessons are MUCH more than just learning an instrument and this is why my students stay interested and dedicated and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐶 😻 🥰 🎶 ✨
