A wild mass crash in the Drammen sprint 2023
Sprint races are often associated with tight cornering, sharp elbows and incidents.
So also in Tuesday’s city sprint in Drammen.
In the second quarter-final on the men’s side, three out of six skaters fell over at the same time.
About halfway into the heat, the Norwegian Sindre Björnestad Skar lost his balance and began to wobble.
In the end he fell in front of Jules Chappaz who also fell, dragging Leder Seller with him in the fall.
