I always use front desk safes when traveling a friend showed me how with a simple magnet they could open a room safe and never trusted them since, I also always carried alot of cash in case I ran across a rare gem dealer or mine.
I love Antoinette Matlins she is the reason along with Dr Hanneman why I got into gemology. I can always relate any subject to gems, it is the reason why my family limits me to a maximum of 15 minutes a day of talking to them about them. Lol I can speak on Gems for hours the jewelry piece that actually made my life partner cry was a strand of natural pearls now I had given at least five hundred pieces of jewelry by that time, but never told me that always wanted a pearl necklace she didn't care if it was natural or cultured she never cared about the values only the beauty. It is completely natural rounds of a rainbow design. It's not the most expensive piece but close.
