Odd for a video to discuss the dangers of Alabama and not mention crime, esp when mentioning Birmingham. Its a great city but being the #5 most dangerous in the nation, could easily be a hidden danger. But dont let it run you off its mostly in select areas away from the tourist areas. I say that yet in just the last month two of its night time emtertanmient areas had mass shootings. One was 22 people at 11pm , other 4 but at 3 am. Great food but its kinda smart to stay in its suburb and go to it during the daytime.

The only things I disagree with would be freezing pipes and ice on the windshield. We have experienced both of these and we live near Mobile. Other than that- your information is accurate 😊

lol even central Alabama is pretty dangerous bc of tornadoes (which I love that you mentioned them, bc most people don't), poisions snakes, the opressive heat during summer (can lead to heat stroke etc)...and yeah hurricanes are a problem, even whe you are up in the Birmingham area (where I live) bc the rain, wind and stuff from the hurricacnes can cause huge thunder storms and tornadoes etc...then when it comes to winter, we don't get snow, but we do get ice on roads which makes driving dangerous.

Thanks for the cheap shot at Mississippi, typical Alabamian with insults towards us. Not a good neighbor.

Forgot to mention the flooding, declining property values due to foreclosures and unkept rental houses, and controversy surrounding current HOA board members.

I purchased my first home in Daphne in 1982 and was laughed at by co-workers in Mobile who said I moved to the country. I thought it was serene and beautiful.I still own this home today and the value of it has increased 400% from when I purchased it. Those old co-workers would never be able to afford a home in Daphne today and many would love to be able to move there.

There are few restaurants and even fewer good ones! I guess they are nicer than other areas BUT these 2 are full of BS, Southern Hospitality what's that?? Cost of living, you bet it's a steal there are so many unfinished neighborhoods it's Horrifying! You will LOSE money moving here, don't do it!! Show the trailer parks full of trash and junk cars...colony at the grand you gotta be kidding 1.3 million hey folks it's NOT CA or DC. These 2 are quite entertaining hell just think about spending your Saturday night in bed watching these 2 on Utube while you pray to lose yourself in a case of wine. They are bragging about Walmart and Fairhope should adopt NORMAL ordinances like other areas of the country..like Noise Ordinances and that means dive bombing planes. Hey you two check out the huge amount of sex offenders IF Magnolia Springs AL only 15 mins away has 79 registered and that's registered think about how many are not and check the stats elsewhere. After 6 Mo's here the weather is Horrible with 2 seasons Hot n Sweaty and Cold n Freezing NO great Florida weather.
