We performed in "Festival Sawt" and had the chance to attend this song's live performance by a french choir..man it was magical Lost every contact and the only memory i got left from the performance, my friend sent me the other day

I just heard this song on episode 3 of lovecraft country. I was aware of marian Anderson and her humanitarian efforts. I knew she had a great voice but I didn't realize how beautiful her voice was til I heard that song. I can only imagine what ppl thought when they heard her sing on the steps of the Lincoln memorial back in the day. Amazing woman
