Logarithms keynote to complex questions.
a plane flies west at a velocity of 100 m/s while it flies the wind blows south at 5 m/s using scale diagram ... determine the resultant velocity of the plane
thank you
A vessel is headed due east at a forward speed of s knots. Then it headed northeast at the speed of 4 knots. Then it made a turn 60° north of west at 5 knots. Finally, it made a turn of 30° south of west at a speed of 6 knots. Disregarding other pressure, what is the resultant velocity of the vessel relative to the earth’s surface?
Just to make sure, the first velocity due east is “s” knots?
just a typo error its 5
@@rikroldanofficial5090 The answer is 4.161knots at 88,18° North of East.
can you solve this via VC and HC Component method?
Silly question... why did you use the angle 135 instead of 45?
I used angle 135 because it is the interior angle of the triangle I need to use with COSINE RULE to calculate the side "R" which represents the resultant. Feel free to contact the whatsapp number shown at the end of this video for more useful information .Thank you.
